Reruns of Three's Company. Seriously. I always loved that show. TV Land plays 3 or 4 episodes every night, and I DVR them, watch them the next day. With that frequent of reruns, I have watched all 170+ episodes in about 5 weeks (which is really only an hour or two a day for a month and a half).

I realized that as a pre-teen/teenager, I had a boy crush on John Ritter. Hairy chest, GREAT legs, funny, awesome feathered hair, cute smile.....SWOON.

Loved that show nod esp the landlord and his wife lol

The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Sam Cooke's music.

Listening to audiobooks from my Ipod touch.

Subway's jalapeno salad.

And although not recent, my daily 1 hour gym workout is extremely essential.

That's not an original cast photo though. Lana was only in season 4. She went as quickly as she came. I didn't mind Cindy Snow. She was still dopey like Crissy. Terri was just a very different character, more grown up, not dorky. She was a nurse after all. I loved Mr. Furley as well.

John Ritter did a huge Three's Company flashback on 8 Simple Rules. Don Knotts was at the very end of the show, and was the last Three's Company cast member to ever work with John before he died months later. During the flash back, John is the landlord for his daughters, and a guy who eventually admits to banging both of them. John is dressed like Mr. Roper, and Kate is dressed like Helen, making similar comments. John also does near-perfect Roper facial expressions at one point. Later in the show, the same apartment, made up to be modern, is used as the real boyfriend's pad. John falls backwards over the couch, just like Jack would have 30 years before. Great nod to the past. He also did a similar quickie thing in his movie Stay Tuned.

they are...and the stories are just different enough between the books and the series that it doesn't spoil anything by reading the books...

It's actually really good, but that's just my opinion. It's funny 'cause the pilot has different actors. The only one that stayed was my husband...er..um..I mean Russell Tovey the werewolf. I downloaded the first series so I get to see the nudity and hear the cursing. I have one episode left to watch.

He's beautiful. It's just that the dorks are the ones that turn me on for some reason. I love the soundtrack to the whole season. I especially loved the episode with Gilbert the ghost. All he listened to was MARC ALMOND, THE SMITHS and ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN. Woohoooo!
