My Christmas pudding. I use Southern Comfort and Zywiec porter in it...and no raisins (blech!).

I top it with homemade toffee sauce.

Make some Christmas pudding first - since it involves massive amounts of alcohol.

You won't even remember making the struffoli! lol

I hadn't heard of buttermilk pie until last Christmas. An orger (I wish I could recall who confuse) shared a recipe with me, and my daughter and I have been making them all year! lol

GUMBO!...ohhhh gawd. My Auntie makes the BESTESESTESTEST gumbo EVAH! I hardly ever got it cuz I wasn't in the south often for the holidays. But I am nooooow!

That and my own Homemade mac and cheese. I'm lazy, so I don't make it often, but I love it and I always make it for the holidays. This year I'm also looking forward to my second deep fried turkey. I've only had one and it was the chefs first time and it came out too salty...we'll see what happens this year.

[Edited 11/5/09 10:17am]

One bright day in the middle if the night,
2 dead boys got up to fight.
Back 2 back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf Policeman head this noise,
he came and shot the 2 dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie
