I never wore one first time around in the 1980s. This cross between a scarf and giant legwarmer can only really be worn if you aren't afraid of looking like a giant uncut penis with a face.

Worn around the neck, you might just pull-off a retro Duran Duran 1980s ironic vibe.



However, as soon as you pull it up, you run the risk of looking like E.T. in his bicycle basket.



Will anybody here be rocking a snood this Winter?

I've had an electric blue knitted snood since last winter.. This is old news to me..

I love it. It looks great on me and has a really cool, sharp contrast with my really light, long blonde hair..

I was looking at them at Target yesterday...

but I prefer really long scarves instead. It looks fun when it's just draped once around and if it's really cold you can wrap it several times to keep warm. Fashionable AND practical.

I have a book called "Bad Fashion", and the snood is in there... I think they're kinda cool!
