I just found the two most perfect, lovely, elegant, mushy, overthetopbutnot, GORGEOUS jackets in the world.. They both have HUGE hoods, but now I can't make up my mind on which I'm gonna pick..

Hubby is way more conservative in dress than I. That particular one scares him. Maybe it's the big ol' buttons. 
He says that, all the time but if I really want something I get it anyway.

I never wore one first time around in the 1980s. This cross between a scarf and giant legwarmer can only really be worn if you aren't afraid of looking like a giant uncut penis with a face. Worn around the neck, you might just pull-off a retro Duran Duran 1980s ironic vibe. 
However, as soon as you pull it up, you run the risk of looking like E.T. in his bicycle basket.
