HIV through oral sex?

What are the chances of contracting HIV through oral sex if you're the recipient and not the person performing the fellatio?
I'm being told that it is very small by one person, but pretty risky by another.
I don't have HIV but it dawned on me that it can't possibly be as safe as most people think it is. I mean, everyone I knows wears condoms, but nobody I know has oral sex with a condom.
Anyone know?

You really should/could do a bunch of research/reading on official medical sites on the internet -

If your getting head the risk is minimal, unless the person going down on you is cutting you with his/her teeth and is infected. If that's going on you should find a more experienced person.

Thanks for bringing this up, HIV and AIDS is rarely talked about in the press. 9,000 people in the USA alone get infected every year. I've read about the limited sucess with the Vaccine trials in Thailand, so there is reason for hope for a cure in the future.

The only way to be sure you're getting your freak on with somebody who don't have any "shit" is if y'all both go get tested together/same time and remain cuffed to one another until the results are in and from that point on as long as you gettin freaky with one another.
