Do you use an alarm clock ?

Do you set the right time on it or do try to manipulate your mind by cheating on the real time ?

Snooze button ? How many times do you hit that before waking ?

What sound do you wake to ?



My alarm is set with the exact time and I do not use a snooze option and I wake to music ~ that sucker goes off and I am up and going ...

my alarm clocks are 6 and 10 years old...unfortunately, they don't have a snooze button that I can smash...

My alarm clock is voice controlled. Whenever my clock harasses me in the morning, I only have to shout: "SHUT UP"

I've got an alarm clock, but I don't really use it unless I have to get up at an unusually early time. My body's pretty much in sync with my typical schedule.

When I do use my clock, I always prefer to wake to a music or talk over some harsh alarm. And I don't ever hit "snooze."

I attempted that trick of setting all my clocks five minutes fast to "dupe" myself into being early for everything. In the end, though, I found that stupid -- kinda tough to trick yourself when you're in on the trick.

No need for an alarm right now, I'm laid off. But when I work I use one, I hate the snooze. As soon as you get back to sleep the fucking thing goes off again. My clock is set 10 minutes fast, I don't know why, that's some shit my wife started about 17 years ago when we got married.

I have an alarm clock.

The sound....glaring alarm squawking.

Getting up in the morning is very difficult for me.

I have an alarm clock to insure that I wake up but I usually wake up naturally before it goes off.

I wake up to the jazz station, and even that's too jarring at times. But I will never wake up to an alarm unless I need to get up early to catch my flight to Hawaii!

I'm a night person so getting up in the morning during the week for work is a long torturous process.

I use two alarms and have to set them for maybe an hour before I really have to get out of bed. The first is set to urban AC station and if I'm really tired and sleep through that one, the second buzzer alarm comes on ten minutes later. Then I turn them off and turn on the morning news on TV and go back to sleep and eventually crawl out of bed around an hour later.

And I use that trick of having my clock be a few minutes ahead too, but then set my alarms for a few minutes after the time I want to get up.

I'm sluggish and grumpy when I wake up. Plus, I tend to get a little paranoid about being late
