got tickets for An Evening With Kevin Smith

He's doing Glasgow on October 12th. I cant wait he's a fantastic storyteller.
Has anyone else ever seen him live?

I've watched his dvds. I agree, he's a great story teller.

I missed him here in August.

i've got all three of the evening with dvds, and all his other dvds, even the weird and rare and crap ones, but he's only ever done the one london show before in the uk (which was on the third evening dvd)

make sure you get stoned and drunk and get him to talk about prince. if you pretend you like batman and starwars and wear a stupid t shirt and have stupid facial hair you will get picked

i don't think i could face spending £40 plus travel etc to go, but i'd love to see him, he's great live. this time last week he did a 24 hour chat session on twitter, he mentioned prince a couple of times

a great storyteller, great sense of humour....but hasn't made a good movie since Chasing Amy. and I'm a huge fan too.

Clerks2 is better than the first. i saw an evening with kevin smith 1 & 2 on dvd,i bet he will mention Prince again. he must b a big fan,i wonder if he likes the new music like The lotus cd. He said he hated Musicology and Crystal Ball. I dont get why he disliked Crystal Ball though.

It's pretty funny.

prince famously walked out on jersey girl (which was kevins first/only PG rated movie, everything else was 18 or restricted) when george carling said "shit" about six times in a row, which was about the only swearing in the film

"We walked out [of 'Jersey Girl'] after an hour. Guess that's what happens when the potty mouth don't work for you anymore." said prince. "After Janet, we've gone too far. We've pushed the envelope off the table and forgotten there was a table."

kevin smith replied "I'm cool with him not liking 'Jersey Girl.' I fucking hated his album Crystal Ball, so now we're even."

that was in april 2004, so he probably said musicology was shit too, as that's the kind of thing kevin would say

I saw an episode of Family Guy a few days ago. The main character was sent back in time and he said something like he was happy to be 100 years away from all of Kevin Smith's films.

Kevin seems like a normal dude. And when he talks about Prince, you get an idea of what kind of guy Prince is. Kinda hard to listen to though, if you are a Prince fan, Makes you cringe a bit.

Potty mouth? Is this the same guy that talked about sex with his sister? Hmmmm.
