I want you guys to post your picks here like we did before, so any problems with that site won't matter. If you're having problems, let me know, those preseason picks do not count.

How to make picks there.

Each week the "pick window" opens allowing you and your crew to login to make picks. On a typical weekend, the pick window closes when the first game begins, then stays closed until Tuesday AM when it reopens for the next week.

Anyone having problems with league.com, the groups have been reset for the season, go to join group and select OrgP4580, you should be able to pick
Please post your picks on here also.

I like the new league.com site. It seems clear and in detail. Once I got the point system figured out. But, ce la vie.

I don't mind doing both, but Lilgish, can you clarify how rankings will work? Will we be doing just picks, or working with the website, and using the point system over there?

you don't have to post here, but all the standings will be posted here, I'm just suggesting to post here if there's any trouble with the site. The site helps me with my count.

NFL MOST VALUABLE TEAMS
Forbes Sports Valuations 2009

The Dallas Cowboys remained on top of our ranking, worth $1.65 billion, 2% more than a year ago. Thanks to the sale of personal seat licenses (the right to buy a season ticket) the team moved into their $1.15 billion stadium this season with only $200 million of debt and almost all of their season tickets sold.

The team has also leased most of the stadium's 300 luxury suites for an average $275,000 a year. Revenue from the new stadium, net of debt service and operating costs, will be about $285 million in 2009, more than double last year (last year's valuation of the Cowboys partly accounted for the new stadium). Once the reminder of seats, suites and sponsorships are sold the franchise will be worth in the neighborhood of $2 billion.

The finances of the NFL remain unparalleled in professional sports. Revenues for the league's 32 teams rose 7%, to $7.6 billion primarily due to the league's television deals with CBS, NBC, Fox and ESPN, which combined paid each team $94 million last season.

A couple of points I'de like to make:

1. Lilgish asked us to use our Org names in our profiles at league.com. I see alot of actual names there instead. I think that the org names is the only way for him to associate/link our two sites together.

2. After you select your winners, it won't let you save/apply without assigning a specific value (1 through 16). You'll get a message saying that zero is a nonspecific number, or something like that. You'll need to apply a different number to each game, then save/apply.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Please post your picks on here also. Please notify me before kick off if you plan to make changes that can't be amended on league.com. We will be using the win loss system as before, but you guys can play points on the other site.

prb, Lilgish is using the other site to automatically keep score for us, so putting your picks only here defeats the purpose. Actually, you can place your picks only there and it would be ok...he will announce the weekly standings here however. Actually, I think i'm going to put my picks on the other site only, because i don't want to duplicate my efforts.
