I absolutely love mushrooms. They are delicious in so many dishes, they are delicious stuffed, and they are also delicious all by themselves and sauteed. I can't get enough of them. And the shape of them makes me horny.

I used to think mushrooms were the most disgusting thing ever and I absolutely refused to eat them. At some point I gradually came to love them. I think the turning point for me was when I was served roast duck with a red wine and oyster mushroom gravy. I was in love.

Well, I lived with a holistic healer/nutritionist for 10 years. She scared me away from them, so I avoid them completely. She said you should never introduce fungus into the body because fungus growing in the blood (which feeds off sugar BTW) is the root cause of all disease.

Shitake, Enoki, and the black Cloud Ear mushroom are consistently part of my cooking. Chantrelles are actually coming into season right now in Germany.

Mushrooms are my steak. For all you meatlovers out there, I get the same satisfaction devouring big fat field mushrooms as you guys do when you hoe into a steak.
