unless its for a role, there's no excuse or reason for a celebrity to be fat. celebs don't work 9-5 (or 8-7) jobs, they can afford to eat whatever they want, and they have easy access to dieticians, personal trainers, life coaches, and...surgery.

when you work, maybe, 6 months out of the year (actors, musicians, models), you're only full time job is your image. fat celebs are ridiculous.

True, a healthy, beautiful size is rarely as thin as a supermodel. It's not supposed to be. But why are there so many really big people out there? I know it sounds callous of me, but I have a hard time understanding why veggies are such a hard choice or adjustment for some people.

In all fairness....are any of these celebs really fat versus just a little chunky? I mean I'd still do Alec and of course...these ladies don't look so bad to me.

The food question is one that throws me. Obviously there are issues with access to healthy food, particularly in isolated rural or poor communities. But all kinds of people who live in more affluent areas are picking up fast food several times a week. Every diet show I've seen features people who say switching their diet is hard. But vegetables and low-fat items aren't difficult. I currently live well below the poverty line and I still try to eat healthy when I can.

Is that picture of DiCaprio fair? In the "fat" pic he's still in better shape than many North American men, and in the "skinny" pic he's like 17....

I mean even the fit celebs have had a little help from mr knife all so they can look as close to 17 (or 25) as humanly possible.
