I used to have a little bottle of perfume that made me think of a wasp nest down at my grandma's boat house.
When I was 16, I fully expected to be able to build my own KITT car.
At the top of my list now is the dream of being able to poop in peace just once. — Horsefeathers |

For me it's the look and smell of autumn in the suburbs. TOTALLY sends me back to walking home from kindergarten and first grade, singing Halloween songs and watching my Jewish neighbors celebrate their High Holy Days.

For me, it's songs by the group Bread for some reason lol  ...If I hear either "It Don't Matter To Me" or "Make It With You", I'm instantly transported back to Virginia and my mom's kitchen or a friend's basement (Raliegh, from around the corner)...
Also the song 'Crystal Blue Persuasion" puts me immediately back in Chicago and my cousin Sissy being in love with my sister's then-boyfriend lol  ...I swear I can see the wallpaper and everything.

when I smell chocolate pudding mix powder I think of the Donald Duck comics I read as we drove through the canola fields in Denmark on the way up to my grandmas house, and pear flavoured anything makes me think of an elephant and a pebbly beach with pine trees. I've worked out the elephant part though - I'm pretty sure there was a picture of one on the wrapper of the ice-cream

 Same here!  Buying school supplies & new clothes/shoes. Girl Scouts after school!  The holidays, and lots of birthdays in my family. It's my favorite season as well.  | |
