Super Glued your fingers together?

I saw a commercial for it tonight, and remembered a time in about 1992/3 that I did by accident. I forget what I was doing, but my left thumb and forefinger were one in a hot second. Luckily, I was fresh out of beauty college and had nail polish remover with acetone in it nearby. Moments later, I was free. But for a moment there, my finger and thumb were truly ONE. That shit REALLY adheres the skin into one piece it seems.

Hell no never personally. A girl I went to school with got it in her eyes and needed major surgery. She never did grow eyelashes again and her vision deteriorated.

Not deliberately, but they've gotten a bit stuck a few times, nothing serious.

Fingers together... hands together... thumbs together to make permanent eagle shadow puppets...

I used to paint metal miniatures so I always had plenty of cyanoacrylate available... it was a great boredom killer!

If you wait a few days you can peel your fingers apart again, the oils in your skin aid removal...

When I was younger I stuck my index and thumb together on purpose jus to see how strong the krazyglue is
It took about 1 hr to get my fingers apart and it had to cut apart wit a knife, blood and skin......not a pleasurable sight for a child.

Sure. I used to keep nail glue around the house so I could do minor repairs on my fingernails. It's inevitable that you'll get something stuck that you didn't mean to.

But now I'm back to getting them done professionally, so I don't have to worry about that.

yes i was fixing my ring just a few nights ago, and lo and behold...it happened

another funny: (when i had them) i once got my braces stuck in the carpet while i was laying down.
don't ask how.

Oh yeah and super-glue is GREAT for sealing wounds shut, at least temporarily. I was cutting boxes one day and sliced a nice gash into my palm (hurt like friggin' HELL!) and after I'd reduced the bleeding I put a little cyanoacrylate along the skin, pinched it shut and voila!

in fourth grade. i stapled my thumb. then ran around the whole class.. i got detention for that too. I also had to clean the blood.

yes and when it happened I panicked and pulled my fingers apart and the skin from my thumb got ripped off and was hanging from my other finger
