As far as the other stuff, I also think being "invested," generally speaking in the site and the people here are important, too. I mean, a person cannot expect to be a member of a clique if he/she is not as invested, right?

I think one has to take the bad with the good. For me, I don't feel like I am a member of a clique because I comment on everything and also don't comment on everything, if that makes any sense! I just comment upon what interests me, and I might say something that is not as popular in doing so. I am more a random member than a clique member. So, you know.. I have to expect not being as popular. It's disappointing sometimes because everyone wants to be appreciated if not "liked." But.. then again, I am more random, so.. there it is.

+ also bring AT LEAST one of the following:

* An attractive appearance and willingness to post new pics of yourself as threads call for them
* Sense of humour

Other non-essential, but nevertheless popularity-boosting properties of an orger may include...

* Knowledge
* Creative talent (photoshopping, music, photography etc.)
* Overtly high amount of genuine kindness and compassion for others
