sunday morning!

How do you like to spend it?

I'm about to sit down with some fresh fruit, a blueberry and cranberry scone, my favorite tea and the latest issue of W (which is as oversized and about as heavy as an unabridged dictionary).

Just waiting for my tea to brew.

What are you up to this morning?

NOT being woken by the upstairs neighbour, bashing together pots and pans on the balcony.

hmph!

So. I made a thread about that. Phil is on it, so it broke immediately.

Anyways. Coffee. Ella's songbooks. Writing a few pages. Then update my Prince folders. Cuz I'm a nerd. Read some John Irving.

If I'm on my own, that is.

In the meantime I did some massive napping. Nice.

I am still in pj's and it is 6:25AM.

Prince is tearing up Beautiful Strange on guitar. I like it when he screams.

I know what you are up to, you mag-junkie. Page through the mag, feel splendid. I bought the most recent FRAME and was feeling SO luxurious, cuz it is so damn expensive, but sometimes you need to spoil yourself, don't you?

nod

I got a subscription to W a while ago. The pictures make me happy, even if I will never be able to afford the clothes in my lifetime. lol

Glad to hear you're having a lovely day after an upsetting start. smile

What kind of clothes would you like to own then?

Pics? Examples?

All of them! lol

It's like my porn. It's all fantasy to me. I once teared up looking at party dresses and ballgowns in the designer section of a local department store as even if I could afford them, I'd have nowhere to wear them. I'm a sap. lol

Let me see if I can find some...

I still want pics. Google an outfit you wish you could afford.

I would do it. Get a dress like that. Contact the local fashion school and tell them you want to model for free and get the dress at discount.

They don't make clothes like that in my size either. lol

I just have to get cracking at my own sewing machine.

I like to make a pot of coffee and enjoy a big breakfast on Sunday mornings. Then I watch my crappy VH-1 shows and then leisurely put myself in the shower. I hate it when things like family reunions and nephew's birthday parties muck up my Sunday lounging. mad

I love a big breakfast too. Weekend brunch is probably my favorite meal to go out for.

I like to run out and get coffee, coffee cake or something like that, and the New York Times, then come back home and get back in bed to read the paper and watch political TV shows.
