I totally wasn't impressed with the first movie,to be honest. Totally bubble gum in the bad sense of the word. And I loooove bad movies.

But the characters of the transformers were too silly and flat. The only that made a slight impression was Shia. Not on account of him being cute, but cuz he actually acted like it was all real.

And the action... jeez, I was SO irritated; it was too fast, too blurry, like they did not feel like making a real effort.

But I am gld you liked it! Serious. But I will wait patiently for Cloverfield II, thank you. Now that was a monster movie I liked. Great action, good suspence, GREAT ending. Props.

I was surprised that I really LOVED the 1st one. I'm not a sequel kind of cat but I'm looking forward 2 the new one as well.

if I don't see dinobots or insecticons, I'm gonna be VERY disappointed.

But the only ones to disappoint me were the Decepticons. They didn't look as cool as they should and you didn't get to know much about them. The Autobots are supposed to be lame, I'm cool with that. Hopefully they'll find something cool for Megatron to transform into.

After reading your response, I Googled "Transformers", because I had no idea what the "original Bumblebee" was. (I still prefer Camaros )

Wasn't thrilled with the obvious GM product placement going on. I also remember the action sequences being kind of blurry and jumbled.

But it was a fun enough movie.

Soundwave better be in this one DAMMIT! If they can make Megatron a big robot/aircraft they can do with Soundwave too.... won't like it until I hear that voice again. Oh and they need to add Perceptor and Shockwave too.
