A lot of quotes seem to be lifted from the original (well, original movie that is) with just a slight alteration...

Batman begins was quite the surprise, an excellent movie, this seems a bit cheesy...

Damn right....people should really stop looking at Tim Burton´s interpretation of Batman as some sort of "original" or "role model" for other Batman movies to follow. Burton´s movie was good for what it was but I much preferred the one with Christian Bale over ANY other incarnation simply because it reminded me much, much more of the serious, dark Batman comics of the 70s and early 80s that I grew up with, especially with the whole Ras Al Ghul storyline.
I hope this series will stay dark and serious and hopefully, they will one day make a movie version of the Lazarus Pit story, where Bruce Wayne falls in love with Talia, Ras Al Ghuls daughter, and he has a saber duel with Ras in the desert and gets stung by a scorpion.
Those stories back in the 70s/80s were the best Batman era.

Didn't like that at all. It looks like they took the few things I didn't like from begins and based the movie around them. Like that stupid batmobile.

Batman stories always work best when they are low-key; a creepy detective who does a little fist to fist combat. Batman is more of a pulp hero. Way too often in the movies he is treated as a darker version of superman.

uh.... I'm torn
