And when the County Clerk came out to perform the ceremony in this big blue graduation-looking robe, we had to cover our mouths to keep from laughing. And folks can say whatever they will, that we didn't take this seriously or what have you, but we are silly people who are happy as fuck to be around each other every day. We didn't feel like spending a bunch of money that could have been better spent taking care of our four children, and we didn't feel like pretending that we're NOT silly ass dorks. On our way out to a nice dinner afterward, we walked into an Outback to grab a drink and got free champagne at the bar.
