Gas prices are breaking my heart and wallet!

The gas prices are breaking my heart! I sort of remember when gas was .99!
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Yep. It costs $65 to fill up my car. I'm getting a more economical car once I move next month.

I raached 1.15 per liter here. Which would be more than $4 per gallon.

I kinda have to agree. Not for everyone, but I definitely get annoyed at the people who have the most ridiculously inefficient automobiles. When I was living in Southern California, it seemed like everyone had to have the biggest truck or van they could possibly have, regardless of its gas mileage. Now people are really paying for it and it's hard to feel sorry for them.

Imago

i'm thinking of asking my congressman to put in a bill to mandate large companies require telecommuting from home wherever possible.

I save at least 15 dollars a week in gas money working from home 2 days a week.

If you multiply that by just 10,000 people in my city and spread that across the top 50 cities in the US. that has to have some kind of downward pressure on prices.

This is insane.

I doubt theyy can force companies to do that ... it isn't really applicable to some environments. It can be stimulated but I doubt whether it can be enforced.

Diesel??

I saw on some channel this weekend on how to make ones own diesel fuel from resturants' old used french fry grease, from what I understand resturants will just give that stuff away just to be rid of it. It ended up coming out very cheap something like less than $1 a gallon.

Good question. I did not ask him what type of gas. It's probably diesel. Diesel retails 4 more than non-diesel does.
