I hate they came out with a 2nd promo. I like the feeling of the unknown.....the suspense of the first trailer.

The more I see the second trailer, the less I'm excited. I'll still see it though.

I've always wanted to see a modern film where there was no music- unless it was coming from a radio in the scene etc.
This is going to make it more dramatic because as the audience we will not be 'warned' when something is about to happen and that's great realism!

I am SO excited to see this. I have only heard good things about it. The only bitching I have heard (depending on your POV) is

Don't like the shaky cam

Too short - clocking in at under 80

No answers given as to how what or why but the reviewer said though it was an easy out, it completely works for this film.

But I have heard that the film is fun, original and very clever and will not disappoint. They said even the monster won't disappoint...you DO get to see it and not just a flash either (upclose and far away) BUT you don't get to see it up close in one long shot if that makes any sense.

I stopped doing that. I came across a little something and then closed the browser as it was too much. I did read a description of what the monster looks like and I still can't picture it, which is good.

All I wanted to know was is it decent, I have read several reviews saying it is, which is all I need.

There are some interesting visuals floating around the internet around how the monster will look.

This is one of the earlier images (my favorite, in fact), but I've read it has been proven to be merely fan art submitted for some contest...

I don't know much about this one, but it has been circulating a bit of late...

And this one is based on concept art around a Cloverfield toy to be released. Is this, in fact, what the final working of the monster will look like, or possibly just one early imagining? I dunno, but this is probably my least favorite. He has no tail, and he doesn't look at all marine....
