To be honest.... I did not know what Phil looked like before I flirted with him. I had only seen pics of him showing off on his bike. My first thought was wow, he seems nice but he is probably some young punk kid thinking it is all of that on his bike.
Ok...so I found out that he was not young...

falloff
I am glad that I fellfor him before I saw the other pics...

I too thought the idea of meeting someone here was CRAZY.... I certainly was not looking. I thought it was safe to flirt with someone who was clearly not my type.
See how that can backfire wink

He is kind of immature isn't he? I would have placed him at 16 based on his personality alone.

Personally, I rarely find younger people attractive, because there's normally a strong correlation between age and maturity (empathy, selflessness, respect, etc.), but the org changed my view a couple of years ago. I realize now it's not how old a person is but how they relate and respect others. Also, my old assumption was that you had to be a certain age to discover painful experiences, etc., but that's obviously not true. Just cause I didn't start on my path to being more mature until about 27 doesn't mean others weren't years ahead of me with that. shrug

And yes, the org taught me that. lol

I. need. a. life.

I think the org has taught us all so much...more than I could express in a post.

Oh, mine was no secret, especially for those who were around, but it's long over. JD and I were together for a time. And yes, it was in real life, real time also.

I remember that.

So very true.

If Prince permanently pisses off to planet Zorcon finally making everybody happy, the org would still be a special place. I never come here for Prince--I come here to smile. And smile often, I do. nod

The things I've learned about people and myself have only helped me grow. It's always a learning experience.

I don't even need to mention painting, docking, eating ass techniques to convey they true depth of that statement.

You know what, I used to think it was creepy and weird that people met over the Internet.

But after the whole Jerseykrs/Funkmistress hookup, I find it kind of charming.

The org is a very strange place. There are all these people who fall in love based on a few photos, but mostly on something sorely lacking when you're mingling in a loud bar while the DJ is trying deafen your ears--communication. People really get to know others after a while. It's kind of sweet.

I know of Spooky/evenstar though I'll never understand that pairing.

Phil/Val though I'll never understand that pairing.

Ian/moonbeam and his new wife.

I may also be wrong, but I think Dean met his girl on the org?

I think Anx and Daren met here too.

and a host of others that were on and off.

It would have to be. The org can be a tough place sometimes. Anybody putting themselves out there, like that, would definitely have to be....

There has been about 5 or 6. For sure. I'm pretty sure it's under 10 couples.

My wife and I met here almost 8 years ago. We will be married 7 years in Feb. It's great. It take's a leap of faith on both sides. If one ain't really and true down. It won't make it. You got to believe. It also helps to except the person and move it along. Either way it's the best sex ya ever had. It can be a true bond. If it succeeds, it long lasting. Be prepared for the bad vibes from the other members of the site who stayed single and mad. But if they meet someone. They usually calm down and understand. Love is, you have to move with the changes and ride the emotions the best you can.

I have no clue what quality it is that I love about you guys, I really don't. It more or less extends to all Europeans, though maybe not so much the French falloff. But there is just something in the European demeanor/swagger that is just awesome. lol And Brits/Englishmen are ones I'm most familiar with. You're humor is infectious. falloff

Yeah, it can both people got to have real love. We made it. We had to make it work. Usually the male has to change to fit his female. But if he loves her real, he will. And she will give him time to realize he really loves his wife. Guys hide some of the deep feeling, but in truth could not stand the pain of the wife leaving them. Even if they deny it till the wife actually does go. A guy will work with his wife if he loves her, and she will give him space and time. To you two. Best wishes. Good travels. dove
