Actually, I'm going to donate some shoes later today. My feet actually have gotten bigger since college. So, some of those shoes -- though still in good shape -- aren't for me anymore.

When I was in my early teens, I had to buy size 12s - which was a bit of nightmare; I could never find decent pairs of shoes/trainers; I always had to order them. Then I shrunk to a size 11, and I've been a size 10 ever since.

I don't know if it was some weird growth spurt or something...

You're lucky yours shrunk though - I think once you go past 10 it gets really hard. The key to getting shoes 9.5 & 10 is to buy them as soon as they come out b/c stores only stock about 3 pairs of each so once they're gone, they're gone for real!

I do that anyway - I think my friends think I'm OCD when it comes to clothes. I see something I like so I have to have it in red, black, blue, orange, whatever... I tend to buy about 8 versions of the same thing.

Probably about 100. I've had to resort to the tacky shoe holders on the inside door of my closets. for the following reasons:

1. running shoes....my old worn ones I wear to work

2. southwest moccasins...I have a pair in pink, black and knee high grey.

3. Doc martens....about 15 pair, boots, shoes, sandles

4. Peter Fox shoes from soho...5 pairs

5.Heels: low medium high

6. Kilim shoes, mules, boots from the Grande Bazaar

7.Hiking boots

8.Driving shoes, Cole Haans

9.Comfy house slippers for lounging and cooking.

10. Stripper clear plastic 6 inch heels for dress-up . Of course I can't walk in them, I have to crawl from point A to B

11. Cowgirl boots 5 pair.

None of which I can do without.
