Most worthy charity?

Which do you think is the most worthy cause and why? You can only pick one:

1. Food Bank
2. Big Brothers/Sisters
3. http://www.ffb.ca/aboutus...hc=2&sub=1
4. http://www.leucan.qc.ca/index_en.asp
5. http://www.bloorviewmacmi.../index.htm

They're all worthy, but if I could only pick one it would be the Foundation Fighting Blindness because that comes close to me personally.

They all sound like wonderful charities though, I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.

Rather than picking one I think I'd have to go with splitting what I would have given between them all.

Scams aside, I don't there are charities that are more worthy than others.

Rhondab

all are needed.

the sad thing is, this is what is happening in Indiana, with the privitization of social service programs like TANF, food stamps and medicaid, the state is expecting the local nonprofit orgs to pick up the slack for the services they plan to cut and at the same time cutting funding for the nonprofits to conduct these services.

I feel so sorry for those people living in poverty trying to access services when they are making most services telephonic and internet based. confused A number of clients in the past didn't have phones.

So give, give, give. These orgs need our help.
