What book are you reading? (Volume 10, Issue 35) I can't believe it! After almost an entire year, I finally finished the book I was reading. I just couldn't get into it as much as other books, but I was damn determined to finish it before starting on any other book.

I'm in a book club and we were supposed to read Atonement by Ian McEwan for our discussion tonight. I didn't finish it...the first part up until the letter was SO boring. I just couldn't get into it. I'm on part 3 now, and I'll try to finish it, but I just don't think I like British literature. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I just finished 'Panic' by Jeff Abbott. It was an Xmas present from my parents and had received good reviews. It was basically a supermarket trash spy thriller.

I am catching up on my children books. Steve Augarde's prequel to The Various is called Celandine. It's all a rollercoaster ride again. Great writing.
