What's you definition of a friend and to what degrees are the levels of your personal friendship ladder?

someone who can be the closest to you, without wanting to fuck you. and just love you as a person and enjoy your company and ya'll have a billion inside jokes and stuff like that.

I have had some "real friends" in my life time.

A true friend is someone who will be there for you no matter what. Someone who won't go after your man or tell people how unstable you are to make themselves look better. But that is just me,what the hell do I know

I have 2 very close friends but they both live far away. One I just adore, we don't click much on the humour level, but we have been a tremendous help and support to each other over the years. She started off as my drinking buddy and now we are both mums of three.

The other I went to school with and we just click on all all levels except the having kids one.

"friends" I've had in the past, most of them at least, have proved themselves again and again over time to not truly care at all. hell, some didn't even bother to call, email or see me before I left Australia! All the time I'm learning who's really there for me or just lip service

i've heard several times that your friends are the ones that will be there when you're in the hospital or in jail?

A true friend won't lie to you, they will always have your back, they won't judge you when you are at your worst or get mad if you call them in the middle of the night with a crisis....and they are VERY hard to find.

i would walk to the ends of the earth for my best friend and i know without a doubt she would do the same for me.

I have mixed opinions on this:

sometimes i think there is no such thing as friendship: you either love me ( unconditionally)or you don't! IE TRUE FAMILY

And sometimes I think a friend is someone who you tell certain things too, if fam are bothering you etc, keping it at a distance

TRUE FRIEND: someone who loves me and would do anyhting 4 me IE FAMILY: not friend
