Damn, what great weather!

This is the temperature in Vancouver right now:

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the car is overheating...

I'm heading for the beach this afternoon. smile

What is the weather like where you are? Does it feel like spring or summer?

Work sucks, doesn't it? On the other hand, being unemployed sucks even more. Then you're too bloody stressed out to enjoy your free time. There, does it feel better now? smile

Retina, I'm a big fan of your city. It is 74 degrees fahrenheit right now. It's perfect. The sun is out, finally.

Hey thanks! I love it too. It has great combination of spectacular nature and an urban feel (well, downtown at least). The only thing that is missing is a vivid cultural life, you know the kind you notice by just walking down the streets. Last summer they were performing Shakespeare plays out in the open down by the water, but things like that are quite rare.

I've never been to San Jose. What is it like?

San Jose has been growing. It's a bigger city than San Francisco with the same amount of people. It's an okay city. I'm very comfortable here. It's the home of the Doobie Brothers, Adrianne Barbeau(some of the young-ens wont know who she is) and the Winchester Mystery House. It's a huge house that has 144 rooms. The house belonged to the guy that made the Winchester Rifles. After he died his wife hired a medium. They told her that she would have to add on rooms each year (or something like that). The ghosts of the people killed by Winchester Rifles told the medium to tell her. CRAZY!!!!!

In Vancouver I remember going to this really cute restaurant by the bay where they had drinks served in gold fish bowls. My ex and I had such a great time there. Unfortunately we drove up only for 2 days from Seattle.

I am right over the hill in Santa Cruz! highfive

San Jose has a bomb-ass Japan Town. It's an original - one of only three left in the state! You should check out the tofu man there, miguel. mr.green
