The husband had Teri's sister and brother thrown out of the hospice room as Teri was breathing her last breaths.

Somebody said she wanted to die. There is no proof of that whatsoever. On the contrary, seeing videos of her interacting (yes, interacting) with her family and friends, laughing, smiling etc made me shocked since I had previously been led to believe by various articles that she was a "vegetable", i.e. couldn't see or hear or move or anything. This woman still had cognitive functions and even more certainly a soul that was full of life. There is no way that a society can justify the torture (starvation) and murder (disconnecting the tube) of one of its weakest and most innocent citizens.

Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with what they did. If the parents wanted to take care of her then they should have let them. The husband could still move on with his life. The whole thing is just very sad.
