Questions, questions, questions... Hello, citizens of the Org.
Due to no request whatsoever, I've decided to start a thread where Orgers can post questions they've always wanted the answer to, and other Orgers can post the answers. (Preferably without the use of Google. ) So come on, show your stupidity by asking questions which are pointless, and prove your intelligence by answering them in a patronising way. My question: I was wandering down the street this morning, scratching my ass, and i suddenly thought: "Why are 'musical triangles', triangle?" So that's my question. Why aren't they circular, or hexagonal?

For the sound waves to flow more easily out of a drunk man's buttocks whilst playing "Wipeout".
Why do birds suddenly appear when I drive by the old folks home? They seemed like such nice people.

Why aren't they circular, or hexagonal? It's to do with jinglyness, the more corners you have the less jinglyness there is. Each corner that a jingle goes through it looses a bit of jinglyness. Three is the smallest number you can have but still maintain a 3D shape. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

Why aren't they circular, or hexagonal? Cos they wouldn't be called "Musical Triangles" Then and would be harder to store in a "Traingle" Box I Have a Question..... I am trying to find out the % distribution of Catalase through a potato.....any potato to begin with....Any Pointers

I am trying to find out the % distribution of Catalase through a potato.....any potato to begin with....Any Pointers Thats simple, quantify the amount of catalase in a small homogenate of potato, using and ELISA or other some such immunoassay and then multiply that by the mass of the potato and convert to %.
