So, you made a new thread for the next 5 favorites in someone's list? lol. Cmon now. Not trying to be rude, but its tough forum love. Attempt to curb the constant rehashing of List threads where everyone lists their favorite songs at the moment (without shining any info on the choices, etc etc). It's just a list. And yours is 5 longer than the last one posted.

This list changes monthly... but the top 5 are pretty much eternal.
My bottom five, I could probably interchange with LOTS of other wonderful songs.
The only song on your list I was never crazy about is Anna Stesia. It's just okay. I prefer Lovesexy from that CD. Even Eye Know... buy I respect your choices.

Thank you Ernest, maybe one could make some statistics. I am hoping toejam posts his results here after his extensive survey. I am not being sarcastic.
But: Please, ernetsewell, dont hate on other people's threads, we all know that a lot of issues come up again and again and again - and what I like about the org is, that it is all good. It makes for a very active forum, and I love the enthusiasm on here.
And: Huggiebear, please don't bite on those negativity and sarcasm responses by being negative and sarcastic yourself, you might end up destroying your own thread.

Don't get mad because you were wrong. You know, it's not a pissing contest on here, but you disputed that there was not another thread w/ the same thing, and I showed you there was, plus a million others. Believe me, I don't have Huggiebear or any have ill will toward him. I don't like his victim attitude, but I don't have an issue with him. He simply said there wasn't another thread like this (oddly toward me yet Spinlight is the one who said this topic was just posted days ago - funny that he always comes at me; I think he likes me, he REALLY likes me!), and I proved otherwise. He cannot take anyone challenging him, ever, at any time. If he wants a yes man, go hire a butler.
Yes it actually would be an interesting survey to figure out what everyone has always listed as their top Prince songs and compile that 411. It'd be some sort of, albeit temporary, final say on what's hot.
But people shoudl totally check out the Peach and Black Podcast to find out. They are doing this exact survey among fans. | |

I am, man. I have no ill-will toward him. But there is an active thread w/ the same topic, for now.
For me, it's just impossible to list a top 10. I mean, has anyone ever counted the Prince penned songs released to date (obviously not counting all the bootleg stuff)? Let's say it's 1500, just for the sake of argument. How the heck can anyone narrow that down to 10??? It's impossible, for me anyway.
I love everything from 1978-1989, 1992-1996, so there's my list. | |

Here's a helpful hint for all that wish to peacefully co-exist in this site.
If you have a problem with a thread, report it using the "report to mod" link.
Choosing that option is a mature and helpful way to express your thought on the appropriateness of a thread.
Starting mini flame wars and passively agressively attacking posters is not the mature way to handle the situation and will surely lead to further action against everyone involved.
People complain about tight moderation, they complain when it is loose as well. We can have 1 "favorite 5, 10 15 100, whatever", or we can have 10 of them. Either way half the people will have a problem with it. It's the internet. You can only ever please 1% of the people. Live with it.
Report threads or don't, but if you choose the latter be an adult and move on.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |
