I like the tune and the guitars, very cute. The rapper could've been omitted and no one would have noticed, but I think he brings 'cred' to the project for fans of this style of music. What a lovely sentiment too.

Terrible, with or without that rapper. Unlistenable. Like 99% of today's music.

I can't even be bothered with the unnecessary bouts of negativity from the usual suspects.

I was talking to a friend about it this morning. Visually it reminds me of "Escapade" and "Got 'Til It's Gone", with the street community flair of "Alright" and "When I Think Of You", spiced with the international flavor of "Runaway". Her and director Dave Meyers have worked on six previous videos together. They originally wanted to film in different countries, but she was still on tour, so they took it to the streets. There are Latin, Carribean, and African elements in the music. Some of the dancers are Jamaican, Nigerian, Latin, etc. I'm sorta glad there were not white folks in it. (Same with "Got 'Til It's Gone", I remember Tina saying she was bummed she couldn't be in that video.)

It's a summer song like "Someone To Call My Lover" was in 2001. I remember rdhull saying that was a summer song not to be missed. I feel the same about "Made For Now".

Even with Janet, I'm not always a fan on a first listen. The clip on Instagram was too distorted to make a good judgment with, but the video nailed it for me. One of my favorite moments is the people dancing on the rooftop then it changes into a watercolor painting hanging in a shop. The song is just about being in the moment in life. The video reflects that.

How someone hates a positive song says 100x more about the critic than the song itself.

On TRL, she told Sway that ultimate the video was filmed "where God wanted it to be".

I'm only a casual fan of Janet, but I really like it. It's a cute fun song with a nice summery vibe.

I'm not seeing where it's particularly trendy. It's the style of dance pop that I associate with her. People love to accuse artists of following trends even when it's not really true.

I like this much better than the songs on Unbreakable even though that was quite critically acclaimed. I found most of that too slow and boring for my taste.

Nice to see her doing a fun uptempo song.

Are we re-visiting the 80's again?

They came back after a weird break and had a longer outro for the show. Jimmy, Janet, & Yankee went up & back down through the crowd then danced with her dancers for another minute or two.

Fun note: Former Janet dancer Jennifer Lopez was the main guest on the show. I wish she had come out at the end to dance with everyone. But maybe the performance was filmed at a different time or something.

The video is great. This performance is even better.

The Fallon performance was great; they should've made that the video.
