Woah I have to seperate Kanye from those three. Simply because his music is just at a higher level creatively and inspiration-wise. Drake can rap but he's not all that Beyoncé is talented and has crazy work ethic. Rihanna just has an attitude and a body. So let's be fair and not throw around blanket statements.

To be honest there's not that many CURRENT male mainstream artists around so I just throw out some names.

It's still the truth that medicore / less talented/inspired female singers and entertainers get way less flack than their male counterparts who often tend to be more creative and musically inclined then them. I find it RIDICLOUS when someone goes about how male artists is so-and-so and dogs them out but everything is fine for a female artist as long as she has some booty-popping beats, a "ok" voice, and a sexy body. But to be fair even Prince was guilty of that sometimes. Stupid...

Theres double standards both ways. Female artist who are "serious" artist dont get taking as seriuosly as male artist who are serious exp joni mitchell. And Female artists who are just pop pluff say one lil thought provoking line and they get think pieces and college analysis than a male artist who its kinda expected from because female pop stars only need to look good.

He basically had the sentiments I had good nostalgia fun album nothing revolutionary or new. My question is will bruno continue to be a revivalist artist who trots out old sounds or will he actually inject his own sense of self an idenity into his music and do something new and different. That remains to be seen.
