Yeah and mainstream music today needs someone like him. At least give credit where it's due and acknowledge him for being able to emulate old school sounds to near perfection.
lol....he should be given "credit" for that?

There's one thing to steal old sounds and then there's one thing to steal then and make them progressive. This just feels lazy. I'm only feeling Perm. This album is terrible. Actually all 3 of his albums suck. But he's a good performer with a decent voice. |

I wonder what the next generation of artists will be like. Will they repackage old sounds like Pharrell and Bruno or will they go in a completely different direction and do something new and different. The death of genres of music is when artist adhere to its rules and traditions exp (jazz rock rnb purists). The music becomes stagnated. It may be enjoyable to people who enjoy that sound and for some people that's enough but I ask more of artist fuck tradition and break things you may alienate many groups but that's what a revolution is about. With that said congratulations to Bruno for marking a fun nostalgic album but I believe your capable of more. |

I think he purposely wanted to do that, not because he's limited. Anyway I believe he can be far more innovative than he already is since he's already a very talented and amazing artist |

A very 80's retro pop-soul/Funk-lite sound from Bruno but I guess that was his intention to pay homage to that era. Kinda like Raphael Saadiq when he did like that 60s sound sound recording. Back to Bruno, "Chunky" has a very "Baby be Mine" by Mike sound to it with the synth. |

If you still feel some type away about that Beyoncé thread if it's any consolation I don't listen to her music I was just saying she's talented and seems to be taking more risk as an artist and I respect that and her work ethic. Your total dismissive attitude of anything her just seemed unreasonable and ridiculous. |
