I wonder if Katherine is in good health. Mentally as well as physically. I hope she is. If the worst did happen, I don't believe Katherine can leave her current share of Michael's estate to anybody anyway. That flow of money just goes directly to the kids and estate.

If Joseph controls the estates, he controls Michael's children regardless (financially-speaking of course).

i dont' think the current execs are going to let her deplete her share of the estate in order to enrich her other children while she's alive. b/c in their long view, even katherine's share of the estate ultimately belongs to his children since her trust reverts to them on her death. so giving katherine unfettered access to her share would be like passing part of mj3's inheritance to mj's siblings - something mj did not want.

HOWEVER, what if you have different execs who will give katherine whatever money from her share? well, then the gravy train gets rolling again, and in an even bigger way than when mj was alive. that's what the siblings think anyway. that's why there's this push to force the execs out. but for any number of reasons, it's not going to work.

you know what? harvey levin at tmz live also said pretty much what i posted: now that the estate is practically in the black, they're trying to get someone appointed who's going to funnel millions to katherine. like i said, they're afraid the two johns aren't going to do that.

She wanted her mother to be away from Trent and all of that other craziness. She wanted Katherine checked out by an independent doc, and to be with Rebbie in AZ to get rest. They went to the house to tell those kids that they could go see their grandmother in AZ, but Too-Grown Paris (Debbie Rowe 2.0) and Prince wanted to stay put, with cousin Trent, the man who apparently lets them have free reign over the house (the kids were even seen partying it up at their uncles' LA concert over the weekend, so how "distraught" they really were remains to be seen). Paris even said her cousin was tampering with her Twitter account, so...

In the video, they are clearly taking videos with their phones of the things this Trent guy is doing at the house.

maybe janet was there to intervene on behalf of michael's children being alone and un-guarded my mrs. jackson. janet more than anyone else knows how chiseling the press can be and how they can twist a story from a few photos.

so i think she came to the estate to be in betweeen the children and the press-ho dawgs, and to make sure they (michael's children) did not get taken into protective custody by the state child protective services/or whatever.

Tbqh with you guys, I don't understand why some of you look to Rebbie as if she's some sort of beacon of sanity. She's still a Jackson as with Janet. She's still part of that family. I don't know who is going to end up taking care of those kids, but as others I have said I am not surprised that there is a chance that Katherine Jackson may lose custody of those kids. I also agree with another poster who stated that the fact that Michael Jackson left the custody of his two kids to two much older women goes to show just how hopeless he felt his situation was in the fact that he just couldn't trust anybody. Then again, he was having issues of his own as he kicked out a lot of good people out of his life and let in a lot of money hungry assholes that were after his money.

Though to the point where he could not even trust any of his siblings to handle his kids or even wanting to give them something speaks volumes. The fact that people can't see past this and only blame Michael for pushing away his family also speaks volumes of those people are unable to look beneath the surface of situations and take lots of things at face value.

mrs. jackson will never get marlon or rebbie in charge of the estate. number one, there is no way the probate judge is going to remove the two men who have sheparded nearly a half-billion dollars into the estate.

number two, even if the two johns were removed, no judge is going to hand over control of this massive estate to two people who have no deep knowledge of finances or education and/or business experience. remember, although mj named the two johns his executors, the judge only appointed them temporarily until they could prove themselves - and branca is a top entertainment attorney and mcclain started a highly successful music label. they had the bonafides and STILL the judge made them prove themselves. therefore, it stands to reason that he's not even going to look at two people who have no experience in this area whatsover.
