Nice, she should play a full version of Angel
Question: who are her backup singers?
I think Donna & Nikki not being with her has changed an element of the show.
They had a special chemistry
I like this setlist way better! |

Madonna has landed.
The Material Girl arrived at Nassau Coliseum this week to start rehearsals for her “MDNA Tour” using the elaborate stage set that will travel around the world with her and is expected to spend plenty of time in Uniondale before the tour launches in Tel Aviv on May 31.
Judging from photos of the closed rehearsals released on her website, the massive, triangle-shaped set includes two walkways for Madonna to wade into the crowd and an enclosed area where fans can get close to the stage. There will also be a huge, three-part video screen that promoters have called the largest in the world.

What is your point? This isn't a high school popularity contest. The point of the tour--like most tours is to promote records, and she's been working her ass off the last two months on putting her show together. She obviously chose not to do the same round of promotional b.s. and chart gymnastics to manipulate billboard. Yes, the free copy with the concert ticket can be considered a gimmick but I don't see people sharpening their knives with others (see male artists doing it). And besides, who fucking cares. Her fanbase clearly ran out and bought MDNA And the record got mostly positive reviews. She's got nothing to prove at this point. The whole "will she retain the crown as the Queen of pop" is bullshit the media created. She's still being played on the dance floor. When Avicci (or whatever his name is) played his mix of 'Girl Gone Wild' during his set at Coachella the crowd went crazy. And if you've ever been to Coachella then you know that the Sahara Dance Tent is mostly made up of kids and young people in their 20s, soooo in my first hand observation the kiddies are grooving to MDNA too... Chart positions are all about debuting at number 1 these days anyway. And she clearly achieved that. 30 FUCKING YEARS after she came onto the scene with a little ditty called "Everbody."
Whether you love her or hate her, why is her success undermined time and time again. And I don't mean you in particular ASG. I'm just ranting. But serioulsy though, why does the media focus on her "hands" for example and ignore the fact that--work or no work done--she looks hot as hell for 53 years. Good old fashion sexism ageism is what I think. And the fact that she clearly makes good pop records and that her longitivily is due to her ability to craft a good pop tune and packaged it with an array of interesting art; whether videos, magazine spreads, and most importantly innovating tours.
But of course I know the answers to my questions. Its' a lot easier to bash someone. Especially a woman who's getting older.
end of rant... [Edited 5/3/12 10:30am]

Well its mostly madonna fans who rub numbers in ur face.
and if u exclude the give aways her sales r going to reach 300k when it drops outta of billbaord top 200 but it will still continue to sell at the 1k sale.
The last album opened with a 280k so 300k ish total isnt very appealing if u consider that |

But you're ignoring the fact that a lot of people who got MDNA free with their concert ticket, would have bought the cd anyway. Madonna's tickets are very expensive and if you're a big enough fan to pay that much for a concert ticket you probably would buy the record anyway.
Anytime your new record sells more than your last record, you are doing well because due to downloading record sales are always on the downslide. |

Madonnarama has just learned more new exciting information on the upcoming MDNA tour!
Just like our earlier report on the fir...ur setlist, the following contains plenty of spoilers!
Back in August 2011, Madonna took a long holiday in the south-west of France and visited different locations in the Basque Country.
When visiting Guéthary, Madonna met Basque trio Kalakan who played for her during an intimate birthday gig with friends and family. They got introduced by the Labèque sisters, whom Madonna refers to as her “favourite pianists in the whole world” in the “I’m going to tell you a secret” documentary.
For the upcoming MDNA Tour, Madonnarama already revealed that “Open Your Heart” will be featured on the setlist. We can now report that Madonna will be working with Kalakan to create a new, revisited version of “Open Your Heart” that will feature “Sagarra Jo” by Kalakan. |

Best selling album AROUND THE WORLD. Dude if you're going to play the old "my dick is bigger than yours," then remember to keep the rest of the world in mind. I wonder, really, how many records Lionel and Bruce can sell outside the US. And I wonder if they've had their last two tours earn enough to be considered two of the highest grossing tours OF ALL TIME!

then she should move to another country. Bruce does decent in concerts plus he sings live and the show isnt about smoke and mirrors and highlights his talent. |
