I doubt it. Whitney herself said she didn't do no recording between 2003 and 2009.

There is some ties between Michael and Whitney almost collaborating. I think Akon said he tried to get Whitney and Michael to do "Like I Never Left" but maybe the concert tour came up (Michael's) and he couldn't do it so Akon did it with Whitney. Just my speculation. But I think I read on that and that "Like I Never Left" was originally giving to Michael but he passed on it.

Michael Jackson's Posthumous Tribute to Whitney

Michael Jackson's Posthumous Tribute to Whitney
By DAVID WEINER
February 16, 2012

Whitney Houston had a very close connection to Michael Jackson, and ironically the pair had even more in common with their sudden, tragic deaths at almost the same exact age.

Now, ET has obtained a copy of a tribute to Whitney by the Jackson Estate that is running in trade magazines, the Los Angeles Times and Whitney's hometown paper, the Newark Star Ledger, on Saturday, the day of her funeral.

Whitney's Eerie Interview...l Jackson

Above the image of a single, perfect rose, the ad reads simply "Whitney," then below it, "In loving memory of her majestic voice, her radiant beauty and the magic she created on stage."

Whitney's Funeral Will St...n Internet

Stick with ETonline this Saturday for complete coverage of Whitney's funeral.

That was really nice of them to do ... Michael would have wanted this..

im sure many of you have seen this, but the reason im posting it is because in the video (around 1:44) you hear a recording of michael literally creating the girl is mine... so my guess is that there are TONS of tapes like this in exsistance..

the main question is, how did these people (people questioning) get all of these rare things.... and do you think...eventually we will get these type things? whether it be officially released or leak..

So "Hold My Hand" was originally intended for Whitney Houston...

Michael Jackson And Akon Song Originally Intended For Whitney Houston

Weeks before Whitney Houston’s death, Grammy-nominated songwriter Claude Kelly stopped by the Forbes headquarters in New York and shared his thoughts on mashups, Miley Cyrus, Notorious B.I.G. and the business of songwriting.

In the interview, he told a fascinating story about how a song he’d written called “Hold My Hand” ended up being one of Michael Jackson’s last recordings. Kelly had penned the tune with Akon, originally creating it with Whitney Houston in mind. In the end, Akon liked the song so much that he decided to record it himself rather than giving it to Houston.

In 2008, Akon found himself in the studio with Michael Jackson–and decided to offer the song to The King of Pop as a duet. The two recorded the song together; a version would appear on Jackson’s posthumous album, Michael. Though the final product was a bit different than Kelly’s original tune, he was pleased with the end result.

“He’s my all-time favorite artist,” says Kelly of Jackson. “['Hold My Hand'] didn’t go No. 1, it didn’t match ‘Thriller,’ or anything else he’s done. But for me I can say I was one of the last people to have a song recorded by Michael Jackson. That’s good enough.”

To hear the full story from Claude Kelly, see the video below — the part about “Hold My Hand” bouncing from Whitney Houston to Akon to Michael Jackson begins at 2:30.

I think it would have been great if MJ and WH recorded this song together as a duet.

Last time I checked, the song Thriller didn't go to #1. Genius fan huh? I do remember reports about it being for Whitney back in 2008, but forgot all about it, and it's funny how the two are no longer alive, with the message in the song and all....

I think he was talking about two separate things - it didn't go to number 1 (like many singles) and it didn't match "Thriller" the album in terms of sales.

Hey mj fans! I just wanted to make a thread to quickly thank ALL of you from the past three years that have been there for support when I needed it most, for myself and other grieving fans. Though I'm still saddened, I hate to say that being sad over Whitney's death gave me closure for Michael. I have found other creative ways to do MJ related things and am beginning to feel "alive" again and I'm trying my best to occupy my time with meaningful things in life though it's very hard for me to concentrate, but I'm sure he would have wanted it that way, and there is a greater purpose beyond any of this and I need to get back to finding it. So thank you again and god bless!

Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston were 'in love'

Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston were 'in love'

Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson really could have been the King and Queen of Pop…

Media personality and Liza Minnelli's ex,David Gest claims the two late stars were once head-over-heels for each other, and believes Michael could have saved Whitney from a life of substance abuse.

"She really loved Michael and he adored her," said Gest – a close friend of both singers.

"Michael told me they once shared a passionate kiss, and she told me she was at one time very much in love with him."

According to Gest, the two music greats were star-crossed lovers. He claims Whitney wanted to marry the King, but that Michael was too shy, adding: "Later he [Michael] confessed to me he should have made every move."

Gest also told The Sun that Whitney "would not have done drugs" if she had been with Michael.

^ Bitch please...rolleyes

I know Mike had a crush on her, and she may have had one on him. THat hardly constitutes being "in love". They were just good friends.

If Mike wanted Whitney, he could've gotten Whitney. End of story. lol

How do you think performances would have impacted MJ's career if he would've performed at the 1984 AMA's and Grammy's?

I always pictured him performing during both events.

WBSS or Billie Jean at the AMA's and Thriller at the Grammy's.

Is it true "Don't Stop Till U Get ENough" was the first song that had lead & background vocals by one singer?

I think Liza Minelli said this about DSTYGE.. "There's a lead vocal, sung by MJ, there's a background vocal also sung by MJ, and there's a third voice, which is also by MJ, no one has done anything like that before", I'm not quite sure how to interpret this....

I was just curious because I was listening to 70's outtakes by Prince and I think "I spend my time loving you" also had 3 different types of vocals by one singer...or is it just 2? I don't trust my ears neutral

CELEBRITY JUSTICE2/23/2012 5:38 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF
MICHAEL JACKSON ESTATEJudge Approves MoveTo Sell Michael's House

1005-katherine-jackson-ex-01
The Michael Jackson Estate just got the ok from a judge to sell the Hayvenhurst mansion which Michael and the rest of the family called home for decades, and buy another home for Katherine and MJs kids.

But here's the thing. We've learned the Estate doesn't want to sell Hayvenhurst -- at least for now, because it's being extensively renovated. But the Estate now has the green light to proceed whenever it chooses.

And the judge made another order -- allowing the executors to put $30 million in the Jackson Family Trust for the benefit of Katherine, Michael's kids, and his charities.

update_bar

Katherine's lawyer, Perry Sanders, tells TMZ, "It is our understanding that the motion to sell Hayvenhurst was withdrawn and this is merely for permission to buy a different place for the beneficiaries to reside." He adds, "Neither Mrs. Jackson nor Michael's children want Hayvenhurst to be sold and we are not aware of any intention on the part of the estate to resubmit a request to sell the family home."

Why would Gest need to lie about anything? He's not against Michael, and never has been. Is it really so absurd to believe Michael crushed on Whitney? People can trust the false stories that Mike was "madly in love" with plain Brooke Shields, but not Whitney Houston?

I can believe that Michael was too self-conscious about his face at the time to have started any relationship with her, all the while having the favor against him even more since Whitney wanted a man who was/is repulsively unnatractive. confused Why is that so farfetched though?
