The song isn't Michael but this new fan (he says he's 14) is arguing with everyone who knows and says it's not......even though the song is on Youtube WITH AN ACTUAL VIDEO
The singer is Massari and it was actually a single released in Canada by Universal....and this kid is saying he doesn't care what I or other people say because it IS Michael and it's Michael's vocal range...oh and he says Michael's alive
and he just became a fan in 2010

I can tell you with conviction, as a Canadian that Massari is real....
Maybe it's just me, but we respected older fans who taught us more about Michael, but these kids can't do the same today. [Edited 12/27/11 23:04pm]

I asked my friend because we joined KOP and the other forums (MJNO, MJJForum) back when we were kids, "Were we like THAT when we were younger?"
I'm telling this kid in the comments, "Look it's not Michael, there's several unreleased tracks by MJ floating around, but this is not one of them" and other folks are doing the same, but he's flat out REFUSING to believe it
I made a post about this thing because I'm seeing fans fall for this mess. Songs mislabeled as Michael and folks believing it, even chewing folks out for doubting, but when it's proven it's NOT Michael, they're either very quiet and embarrassed or they refuse to accept it

Do these "fans" even listen to his music?

Joe and my own father have a very similar demeanor. I can understand how different people would get a different impression of the same man, and how both impressions could be accurate.

Yeah it could be about being embarassed to admit they are wrong, though a private apology would be nice too if they were rude and then realize they were wrong. I fear for the next few generations for MJ fans if this is how it's going to be. I'm not happy to hear this.

Young Michael Jackson fans who just got into dude after he died, we need to pray for them... seriously.

thanks timmy man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Does anyone know where I can watch the documentary online? I saw it some time ago and I would like to watch it again. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Yeeeah, that didn't work as well as I thought it would. Weeknds vocals are too low on the mix and MJ's vocals overpower everything on the record (as his vocals did on everything he touched ) I think the records are better separate.

Or Michael's vocals over The Weeknd's music, that could've worked too
Listened to Weeknd's track, it kinda shows how limited his vocal range, his voice giving out during "Because he's sleeping with me" line was not a good look. He totally had a Barry Gibb moment "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

MJ's vocals work over the music but their vocals together are apples and oranges.
Yeah he definitley had a Barry moment!

I wonder which tracks they are talking about. I don't expect to see the "State of Shock" demo version released, so I guess they must mean "Victory" and "There Must Be More To Life Than This". |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I think all 3 are slated for a boxset next year
Imagine if Victory actually the title track....The Jacksons AND Queen? "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
