i think it's terrible that those kids are constantly exploited like this. this kind of stuff never happened with lisa marie presley or sean lennon. blanket obviously doesn't want to do this and they just don't care. and those older kids are being trotted out to sign autographs like they're the celebrities and try to promote products to make money for the rest of the family i'm sure.

it's just so distasteful.

I feel ya. Lisa Marie & Sean/Julian had it hard enough but what's going on with Michael's kids is ridiculous.

A lot of Michael's fans are saying the Jacksons are only doing this for money and all that, but are they even getting paid for this event?

They can't use his likeness or copyrights or video footage or his full name if anything, it's more of a lose-win situation for them

I'm looking at the other pictures of the show and it looks like it went really well. Aside from that one picture of Blanket (apparently he forgot his part of the speech), he looked like he had a great time along with the other kids

No matter how questionable the show seemed to be, it's good that the kids saw people come together to show love to their father, especially with everything that's happened these past 2 years and what is going on now this month. Money or whatever, the most important things is, folks came together for Michael

From my understanding Katherine got a sign on bonus of a few hundred thousand (which I assume will trickle down to the family) and a % of sales are going to them and a trust set up for the kids (with Katherine as guardian of that money).

Blanket looks like his dad more than ever, with those sad eyes. He looked sad to me, and I teared up myself the minute I saw the close up pic of tears :*( I know they are all equally sad, but I feel the most for him. It was so unsettling to me 2 years ago that I was using writing to express my pain over his death, and it took his death and blanket crying for my writer's block to go away.
