I don't think most people who believe he faked his death are claiming they know what his motives were or what his 'future' plans would be. [Some do, but not most I think]. All they are saying is that they don't believe it's a 'real' death, that he faked it, that's all - and this btw, based on very fishy facts & occurrences surrounding the 25/09 event itself.

alphastreet said:

They said the judge in the trial looks like the dude on the screens in the Scream video lol

I think at this point it's an insult to his family to even suggest he would do it. I always said that, though at times, a few things made me wonder too if it was though I recognized at the same time it was happening to keep me from feeling sad. I think most who believe it are channeling their denial in an unhealthy way. Even if he was faking it, there is no way in hell he would reveal himself and lose the respect he has re-gained, yet some still believe he will tour again if he comes back.

Oh you would be surprised. Some fans believe he knows information about 9-11 or stuff going on in the world and is in trouble and all kinds of "theories". And the whole thing about him and Elvis (yes, that Elvis) being connected, and that he's going to come back in 2012 or 13' cause of saying "4 years to get it right" in This Is It and stuff like that.

Totally co-sign what I put in bold. Me too I was puzzled by the idea of a 'kidnap' - first time I heard such a theory.

I believe MJ is much, much smarter than the rest of us/this world, that he has outsmarted us all on this level [escaping his demons, the forces that were after him for his money, etc,].

For the doubters of this scenario, all I'd like to know and understand from the pile of evidence and other fishy facts on/before/after 25/09 - to take just one of them - is how they fitted his 1.80 meter in such a small coffin. hmmm

Let's get to the basic maths here...

Anyway, meanwhile we are being distracted from what really happened and being thrown colorful dust into our eyes with circus and fancy shows... rolleyes

This makes no sense to me. Who did they do the autopsy on? How could so many people, paramedics, doctors at the hospital get fooled into thinking it was MJ? If he's abducted, how does he manage to release the secretly taped material, Best of Joy, that she's refering to as him trying to reach out for help? And what would anyone gain from abducting him?

[Edited 10/3/11 13:12pm]

i stand by the hoax theory, however i DO NOT believe michael was "kidnapped" i believe Michael is Completley and Totally behind it, ( i know you are about to give me the 'hes a crazy fan who just doesnt want to let go') but no, in all honesty i believe that michael is still here, but deffinitally NOT kidnapped.

I used to be, but post many readings/research, not anymore I think:) wink

Btw, I would be curious to know how to explain that on his 1996 [or 1997?] 'Blood on the Dancefloor' album, we have a scene of a city skyline with buildings collapsing in huge clouds of dust in the background.

An interesting coincidence, I must say...

In terms of connections, I certainly can believe that he had ties in much, much higher echelons in society and circles than the average mortal. That's normal when you reach that level of fame - a different class, a different level of operating, and different affiliations for sure.

Yeah I was going to bring up the 9-11 thing, though it could have been purely coincidental. Wasn't there a thread sometime back about Prince knowing it's going to happen too, around the late 90's and saying something at a show? Maybe I got the info wrong, but I'm sure I saw it.

I also had a very bad feeling about his safety on 9-11 before we knew anything else aside from the bulidings being hit, as the radio news about Madison Square Garden was interrupted with the Twin Towers news. Of course I was sad and scared about everything else and everyone, but very scared it could be his plane until we found out it wasn't. And was very shocked when we heard that he was supposed to be there but overslept....it's so weird how I sensed something even then and beat myself up for thinking about something like that

HOAX

So are we meant to belive that if MJ pulled a hoax - not only did inflict unbelievable pain and suffering on his family, friends, and fans worldwide, he also committed fraud by benefiting financially from his death and NOW he is going to let an "INNOCENT" man be tried and go to jail for his "fake" death?

Come on, now.

Michaels family obviously know, as well as doctor murrey (if he did fake his death) and connrad is not in jail yet... lets just see what happens..

To answer some questions about the Immortal Tour:

- The show was about 90 mins.

- MJ Hologram...? The only parts I can recall could be the video screens in the background showing MJ. They also used a prop during a song... Maybe I'll Be There? That had a portrait of a very young MJ looking through a window. There was no technology that I recall that would've made it appear as if MJ was actually there.

- A lot of clips from what the This Is It concert.

- A lot of lights on costumes.

I think it was Childhood that had a hot air balloon float around the audience with a little boy in it (boy inside balloon was of course fake).

This show had a concert feel to it. A LOT of it felt like what This Is It would've been like. Greg Phillagaines did an incredible job with the music. The Soundtrack will be a MUST HAVE.

Some people want Michael to be thrown into the gallows of embarrassment if it's a hoax. People just don't THINK before they type. neutral Besides, didn't some of y'all say he'll come back around July of this year? lol What's the next date? December 2012? You know what? Michael Jackson's 'Immortal' Won't Be His Last Album, Says Estate

by Marc Schneider, N.Y. | October 04, 2011 9:24 EDT

Michael Jackson's next posthumous album will be released in November and be chocked full of newly discovered outtakes and alternate versions of old hits, Epic Records announced on Monday.

"Immortal" is actually the soundtrack for the new Cirque du Soleil show, "The Immortal World Tour," which debuted on Sunday. The album features an alternative version of the Jackson 5 hit, "ABC," as well as a series of mashups and remixes. His first posthumous album, 2010's "Michael," reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in a brief, 3-week stint on the chart.

The new stage show and tour is comprised of more than 60 songs from Jackson's catalog, but the album release will be available as a 15-track album or a deluxe 22-track album that will go on sale Nov. 21.

Billboard.com spoke to Jamie King, the director of the Cirque production, who said "the big, iconic songs are there, with some other songs mixed and matched throughout. There's some younger Michael in there as well, 'Ben,' the Motown stuff...It's a mixed bag of tricks in terms of songs. It's a music-driven show, so we're making sure the music is the narrative that drives us and takes us on the journey."

Jackson had a treasure trove of unreleased material upon his death in 2009. "Immortal" has the full backing of his estate, co-managed by attorney Howard Weitzman, who told us that in addition to the Cirque show, the Jackson estate is contemplating several other projects. The 25th anniversary of the "Bad" album in 2012 may be commemorated with a special package similar to 2008's "Thriller 25," while another set of unreleased material to follow 2010's "Michael" collection is also being considered.

"It's a pretty vibrant estate in the sense that it continues to generate not just catalog opportunities but plenty of other ideas," Weitzman says.

True, could be. nod

As for Prince, I don't know, I didn't follow up at that time. But it could be too. Like I said, I believe that once you reach certain higher echelons in society, you start knowing much more about the larger picture and the forces that govern it than the 'average mortal'/the rest of us. So it could well be that Prince knew too I think.

Anyway, to answer what seems to be quite common thinking in the comments here above: I'm not sure why a belief in the possibility that he faked his death must automatically be tied to a belief that he will return.

To believe that he faked his death is a wish to critically question and investigate the 'facts' that we were presented by the media on 25/09 so as to learn the truth and understand what happened and why; while to believe that he will return and is now planning some kind of comeback seems to belong more to the realm of hopes and wishes - quite different things imo - at least they are for me [I do believe the death was faked; but I don't claim any knowledge or conviction about any comeback/future plans of his] - although I realize that some, maybe many people do.

My wild guess is that he has now achieved 2 long-time goals of his, in pure MJ-fashion: 1] he now has the peace & quite [from the media, public, etc] he so much wanted [even though he courted media attention for career purposes]; and 2] he is now perhaps working in film, in some behind-the-scene role, like producer/director, under another name maybe, and also maybe designing video games and other things. He said filmmaking was a dream/goal of his years ago.

That's the scenario I believe, and therefore am hoping for... neutral

I am still yet to read or hear any pluasible argument put forward as to why MJ would fake his death. Unfortumately many MJ fans have become the very thing MJ hated and was victimised by in his life, people willing to spread rumour and conjecture, make wild accusations and damange his name. The stories (lies) made up through various conspiracy theories (he was murdered, no hang on he was kidnapped, no wait he faked his death) are no better than the wild lies published by tabloids while he was alive.

I had hoped that 2 years on people would let him rest in peace.

I thought I could resist listening - but alas I couldn't.

I was someone who bought tickets for the Cirque show when it was released, and will be travelling half way round the world to see it, taking a blind leap that Cirque would do MJ proud and produce a show to rival the Beatles LOVE show.

Hearing this mix makes me think the leap of faith will be rewarded. Come November 3 when I arrive in Vancouver I will know for sure.

I don't know what the truth is, I don't claim I do. And aside from his own people/a select few insiders no one knows either I think.

But about the 'stories/lies': I do have an opinion. It's normal people think & discuss these things among themselves, and have views and impressions. It's called freedom of thought and expression.

Btw, let's admit that MJ played no small part in stirring these rumors, he definitely created entire media 'breaking news'.

As for 'everything he stood for': here again, I'll say: 'everything he stood for publicly'. I have no doubt that in his heart he genuinely wanted to make a difference in the world with all his good deeds and that these were heartfelt. But he also made sure that these were highly publicized by the media. These good actions do not exclude the fact that he may have had ulterior motives and goals, if only purely career ones. Ultimately, we don't know what his own, exact intentions were, only he knows.

I think he has been a master at manipulating the media for his own ends, and that goes for when it comes to his good deeds are concerned too.

What his true ends are/were, that I don't know. I just know what he has put out there publicly, through the media.
