I think I disagree. Kanye is a terrible lyricist, just like everyone else in rap right now. In that sense he's doing EXACTLY what everyone else is doing.

Tee hee hee...

Kanye is an epic artist imo if you going to compare him to the other rappers out now he is in his own lane. I’m a big fan but I never claimed he was lyrical he does have a couple memorable and clever raps but yes there are others lyrically better than him. He’s not the stereotypical rapper and I like that about him. Gaga and Kanye are very alike to me musically kanye is better though.

Lady GaGa

Adele

Kanye

Arcade Fire

Bruno Mars

basically own the game these days...

Hell, I don't even like Bruno but if we're talkin''bout well-crafted PURE/TRADITIONAL pop, he's the king right now...

his sound/lyrics need more salt, and less sugar lol lol

Marry The Night

Government Hooker

Scheiße

Bloody Mary

Fashion Of His Love

Heavy Metal Lover

Electric Chapel

Yoü and I

The Edge Of Glory

contenders: Americano I don't know it's funny to me lol that would be the main filler and Black Jesus † Amen Fashion is not too bad.

Born This Way no sorry Gaga confused lol and Judas I don't even listen to now.

If that's the case, then stick a fork in it because music is officially dead.

  • Lady Gaga is a copycat, a weirdo, an obvious gimmick and IMO the anti-Christ's button pushing mistress.
  • Adele is as boring as sin, and only exists to give Gaga fans something else to listen to, so that they can claim to listen to something other than queeny electropop.
  • "Golddigger" was the last Kanye song worth listening to.
  • Arcade Fire, I've never heard of…but if he/she/they/it fit in context of the rest of these jokers, then I'm not interested.
  • Bruno Mars is a dork; his music is as corny as a made-for-TV movie on Hallmark channel.

One thing I wil say is it is definitely obvious Gaga loves the booger sugar. She is so coked up in that interview, it's sometimes difficult to watch, IMO! She was also pretty coked up in that one interview she did where all you saw was her and her Madonna/Hanky Panky ringlets.

She's so thin nowadays, she gets a bit of a sneer across her face when she tries to smile wide. A bit of a zany quality, sometimes she gets a wily look in her eyes when she does it. Watching interviews from 2011 is nothing like interviews from 2008. Completely different person.

She need to lay off the drugs (whatever drugs she doing I know she didn’t stop using cocaine like she said) and the drinking for real. I thought she was more coked up last year but she must be back on it again.

But GaGa is reminding me of how i felt when i listened to Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and that is that no one is doing what he does in rap anymore.

Tee hee hee...

If you're comparing him to the greatest rappers ever, you're on to something.

But compared to most of the rap shit that comes out now, he's Shakespeare. Plus at least he tries to do something different - how many rappers do you know, incorporate rock elements into their work, and do movie-length videos with ballet in them?

Let's give Kanye the credit he deserves, now. lol

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

Ok i know everyone is definitely entitled to there own opinion

Golddigger was the last good Kanye song?

All Of The Light's? Homecoming? Blame Game? Coldest Winter? Champion?, Runaway?, Bittersweet Poetry?, Hell Of A Life?

Your really think Kanye hasn't had a worthy song since then??, If you really think Golddigger is better then the epic All Of The Lights with it's beautiful orchestral intro, and just epic sound with drums, violin, guitar, piano done by Elton John. Great backing vocals..... if you think Golddigger is better then that well.... that is just whack as a heart attack lol

I'll go ahead and say it.

The Fame is a better album than Madonna.

Born This Way is a better album than True Blue.

If Baby Gaga continues this streak, Mother Madge is going to be eating her dust by the time she makes her own version of Like A Prayer.

I'm not a fan of Madonna early 80's album so this is mostly true even though i like True Blue, and i agree on your statement.

Although i feel GaGa has not done a ballad as good as Live To Tell yet, yes there was speechless and a few on BTW but none that have had the greatness of Live To Tell. But she will get there!

i like gaga music lately. i've been hovering and whenever i liked it or not. would i go see in her concert sure but being the cheap individual i would not want to pay for my tickets. however the hate and jealously oozing out is a great example of what artist who's actually doing something good. i'm not a big fan however i do like this album. so here's my take on the album not that it does not matter.

Marry the night-7. good.

Born this way-7. good.

Government Hooker-8-good.

Judas-9- awesomely escapist.

Americano-4-okay.

Hair-6-i think it would be good in a play. i liked it

Sheibe(sic)- 9-awesome.

Bloody Mary-4-okay

High Way Unicorn-3-not my favorite. but good.

Electric Chapel-9-awesome

You And I-10-my favorite song in the album

The Edge Of Glory-10- my second favorite song in the album.

i hope i don't insult gaga fans. im not keen on fighting for their taste in music. i love music in general because of the emotions it makes us feel. the rush we get when we listen to a good album and the annoyance of a bad album. i didn't skip any songs on this album which is very good. i recommend this album to friends.

I agree, she has not had her "Live To Tell" moment yet. I'm not a fan of that song, but I respect it for what it is and that it's very popular.

Never been that into the Springsteen/Mellencamp/ZZ Top shit so "You And I" and "Speechless" are only just okay to me. lol.

I can't. Shania Twain was the obvious one I could see doing it because... well you know... the producer of the song used to be married to her and produce songs similar to this.

Well, yeah because we can hear Mutt's vocals all over the track. But if you were to take Mutt's vocals out, you don't think there's sort of a barroom, bluesy kinda rock Springsteen vibe? Maybe I'm way off - again, not a big fan of his music (though he was fine back in the day).
