In his case, literally. Jackie was a stuntman/extra in The Big Boss and Enter The Dragon. Sammo Hung was in Enter The Dragon too. Chuck Norris was in Return Of The Dragon. David Carradine became famous indirectly because of Bruce, since Bruce came up with the TV show that wound up being Kung Fu. But the networks at the time didn't want to build a show around a Chinese actor. There's even a new Green Hornet movie now.

I was thinking that too, but in the musical Pop Culture sense, he's outshadowed by his peers Michael Jackson and Madonna.

One thing that always bothers me: Prince's 1999 and LRC videos were also among the first to air on MTV, but MJ receives all the credit for his Thriller videos. Granted, they're better - but both artists helped break through the racial barrier.

Yeah that's true.

The Beatles are possibly the only people that stand in the way of Michael Jackson. But he's bigger than Elvis on an international level, and I have the receipts to prove it as far as sales figures. The only place where Presley outsold Jackson was here in the states and in the U.K. Every other area of the world in any corner you name Michael eclipses him in fame and recognition.

The Beatles, however, still most likely reign supreme. You can't discredit them at all and no one has outsold them. No one.

What I meant was his method of filmmaking replaced that unrealistic type of martial arts as the predominant production style. Pre-Lee, almost all martial arts films included the fighters jumping around, over buildings and lakes, battling in the air, like Marvel comic characters. After him, that fake flying eventually became almost non-existent.

I don't know, in the late 1980's through the mid 1990's there were a lot of ghost/horror martial arts movies, and they usually contained air fights (being that there's ghosts or monsters involved ). Flying might have died out for awhile, but it made a comeback.

I don't get the hype of the Harry Potter phenomenon myself. And apparently if you see spoilers from the recent film, some fans losing their mind over a naked Harry and Hermoine making out or something. It's one confusing phenomenon to me lol but everybody loves those kids. I admit I'm attracted to Daniel Radcliffe (and Rupert Grint) but that's as far as I'll go to liking Harry Potter lol

Have you even read the books? The writing is unbelievably good. I seriously hope you're not basing your opinion on the films, the films are absolutely awful and NOT an accurate representation of the characters. They're pretty visuals, nothing more.
