My posts and what i said have little to do with the Harpo interviews and how I feel about some things the family have done in the past and are doing. But strictly about "Breaking News". You don't have to be musically gifted to type in Jason Malachi in on YouTube. Listen to a couple of his tunes properly, then listen to Breaking News, and conclude from there. Instead of going in on the interview and all of that. Do some research of your own...judge for yourselves...To me it's MORE than obvious that is Malachi on the record. Again, at best they added some ad-libs that are Michael's. Yes I have a lot of exp. musically but that has nothing to do with this....
Everybody should be able to hear this...imo..... |

Still, they´re gonna see it one day.
Yep. And that's what sucks about it. Now I keep thinking "maybe they would've been better off with Diana Ross."
[Edited 11/8/10 11:38am]
Probably. See, I know nothing about her kids. You don´t see them anywhere which is Mike´s way of raising them. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all." |

So...we have Sony releasing Breaking News online today, and the Jackson family & MJ3 saying its a fake. And then we have the big Jackson family + MJ3 interview on Oprah today as well. Coincidental timimg?
do we know for certain that MJ3 said that? i've heard that 'sources say' over at tmz that they said it, but unless they've release some sort of statement, how do we know they actually said it?
i'm sorry, but i don't trust taj as a source. remember, he didn't even know MJ3 were talking to orca - i mean, that fat cow oprah. have any of his tweets stated that the kids said they didn't think it was their father's voice? i know he and his brothers have been running their mouths about this s*it, complaining that the cascios didn't answer their questions or give them straight answers. whatever. i'm sure the cascios could care less what 3T think about them - they're about to get straight up paid! |

Really, after Thriller, who did Michael really trust? Not even his own mother.
You got on one hand a family that is going from one end of the spectrum to another, on another you got producers who are covering their tracks on a purported song that is supposedly Michael's but is probably not, then you have a label who is making money off what could be a dummy track and not a finished Michael product (I mean it wasn't like Marvin's "Sanctified Lady", obviously anyone with a brain can hear that track and notice Marvin's trademark vocals, except for a few whoo's and hee-hee's added in, it's questionable about "Breaking News").
Then you have fools who kept posting tabloid stories suddenly turning the other cheek as if they always had Michael's back.
Sometimes you gotta wonder why money always make motherfuckers do stupid things. |

Yes, and fans have been fooled before by Malachi (2007 2008) with mamacita...Tom fox...(neverland landing) and that song get out of my mind by a russian dude.
This is nothing new....but just to repeat myself....Why would they post up a song that features Malachi? is it to generate buzz? Is it it to create controversy...or are they just ignorant and don't know...
or...DO they know and don't care. just some things I wonder. [Edited 11/8/10 11:44am] |

Yeah. I mean you really have to wonder why people continue to do this. It's not as simple as some folks think it is. Especially from folks who was arguing earlier this morning that this was Michael at his laziest. Please. |

I'm defending Michael on this and his intergrity as a craftsman till I pass out. Because Mike had multiple takes of a demo...his demos were top notch and usually not that far off from the final song...he was a master at phrasing style...ad libbing...lil details that on repeated listen you'll hear new things...all of this is missing here....listen to other malachi's work now...
did riley upgrade this tune then in essence malachi got a free career boast...and his record produced by riley which will never happen again... lol. |

This could end both careers if you think about it. Teddy is breathing angry right now because he's been caught and Jason has basically hid himself from releasing anything else.
Least I'm hoping this is the scenario that happens. And yeah Michael's demos were always top notch. Michael was a perfectionist, he wouldn't have allowed a dummy track to be released without his consent. Like Marvin said, "would you dare release a Picasso painting that Picasso didn't declare finished? Hell no." |

taj is busy tweeting about the cascios; do you think he will tweet about his grandma? how's that 'legacy protecting' working out for him?
katherine could have at least have tried to explain why mj - who was a beautiful man - felt he was so ugly and became 'addicted' to plastic surgery. but that type of discussion would require some self-reflective introspection that she either doesn't have or is trying to avoid. that cow oprah could have pressed her on this issue, but oprah can't see beyond her own preconceptions about mj so she's not going to point out what (to me) is the elephant in the room. mj didn't feel good about himself b/c of the messages he was receiving from those around him. he may have thought it was b/c he wasn't good looking, but it probably went much deeper than that. he didn't feel valued for himself, only what he could do for the family, and insted of 'pushing' back on these bastards, he internalized the sense of worthlessness and tried to make himself feel better though plastic surgery, you know what i mean?
as we pointed out in a previous post, how can her 'mj was an addict' discussion with that cow oprah be reconciled with her interview just a few months ago? as i said, coming soon to a courtroom near you...
Yeah, you´re right on that.
BTW watching the tiny peace, Prince looks umcomfortable. Paris seems very confident and mature.
one dollar will get you five hundred that these kids had no idea they were going to be interviewed until those trucks rolled up. he probably was uncomfortable. they say that blanket was behaving the same. i don't think they should have been interviewed, but as mol just posted, they're probably the saving grace of the interview. i don't think strung out, drug addicted fathers have time to hang out with their kids just talking on the roof, or play tag with them, or care about making them french toast. maybe, but not likely. i have an aunt who was on drugs, and not surprisingly, her son in particular did not fare very well in life. i don't think if mj was as bad off as the family is making out that his kids would be as mature and well-spoken as they are. but that's just me. true although I can understand Riley's point of view too. He has never done anything bad to Mike (as far as I know)
If it true that he got handed a song that he assumed was MJ and they told him to do production then he did polish it and did right in his mind...
That said I just can't get over that you wouldn't HEAR mixing (and folks this happens with headphones lol) this that it ain't Mike...Especially if you worked WITH MIKE THERE on Dangerous/History/Invincible...

Exactly. I am also annoyed the way his name is pronounced there "jacksoon".
Anyway, what I also thought about was maying if the Estate was giving Sony hard times with the tracks, maybe they let Jason record some and see if they can pass it on and get away with it. They could just put MJ´s name on it and sell it. And if people wouldn´t notice and the estate would say something, they could say, oh we´ve got our own songs by MJ that we own. But I know that I know nothing about the music business so maybe what I am saying is pure nonsense. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. Yeah I think only the ad-libs are Michael. Like I said it's a dummy track and Michael may have had little involvement with it. It seems as if Teddy did polish it. I got no prob with Teddy but something about the Cascios strike me as strange especially with their behavior following the criticism of the record.

Exactly. If MJ was this low life drug addicted guy as his family describes him how come his children be so educated, well-mannered, intelligent and have so many good memories of their dad? How was it possible for MJ to be such a great father? I guess someone is lying. As some junkie, demented, lying and in denial low life (according to his mama) would say, "who is it?" |

Alarm bells rang when i heard just that snippet. Really if FONY are already barrel scraping with this deal where does that leave future MJ albums? wasn't the deal for 10 or something?
It could be what has already leaked online over the years and what got released on the special editions and Ultimate really is all that's releasable. Michael might have registered a shitload of songs, doesn't mean they exist anymore. |

Watching the bit of the interview with the kids reminds me of a Mike´s quote from that Schmuley book where he asked him if he was more protective over Paris because she´s a girl and he said no, she´s tough, she can fight for herself and that you can do pretty much anything with Prince. He was right, I guess. I am not sure if you can really do anything with Prince, but Paris is strong and fighting. She´s so sweet. Prince seems very sensitive, I noticed that at the Grammys. Paris on the other hand could cut a motherfucker if you talk shady about her daddy. Blanket sounds like he could be a mixture of his brother and sister. |
