Thank God! Breaking News to be taken off Michael's album!!

BREAKING NEWS TAKEN OFF THE NEW MICHAEL JACKSON ALBUM

New York NY - On Monday 8th November www.michaeljackson.com streamed the song Breaking News which was originally intended to be included on the upcoming set of posthumous Michael Jackson recordings MICHAEL.

The origin of this track, along with two other tracks initially intended for inclusion on the album, came from a friend of Michael's based in New Jersey. Whilst we have complete confidence that the pair did collaborate on material in 2007, the decision has been made to cut these tracks from the albums tracklisting.

Final adjustments to the album are currently being made. The release of the first single from MICHAEL will be announced shortly.

One of the most recognisable voices in the world, who were they trying to fool?

I hope it has gone.

But the project is a total mess that's for sure.

Sony should be ashamed of themselves disbelief A project like this should be very easy to put together.Michael has dozens of unreleased tracks in the vaults.First, they screwed up the artwork by using the Prince symbol on it,creating a mild controversy. Then they screw up the first single by releasing a whack, generic song that isn't even Michael's vocals!! WTF is wrong with them?!

Arrogant marketing.

Their attitude is whatever comes out of their anuses will end up in folks' jaws just because they attached it to MJ's name,,,,,,I apologize for the expression but thats exactly how it seems right about now.

Somebody needs to say "STOP!....Let's start all over again".Delay the project, take their time and do it right! Several weeks ago,will.i.am expressed anger at this project, claiming that Michael would never approve of it.It's beginning to look like he was right.

Their(MJ & Phony) relationship hasn't ended in good terms,,,,,,I wouldn't expect ANY dedication from their part to compile together a project that compliments Michael's legacy.

Ever since MJ's death they have shown time & time nothing but contempt against MJ by pimping his legacy, and considering the recent poor financial state of record labels in general, they figured they already have the upper hand since they already expect fans will blindly support whatever MJ-related product they release.

Since money has always been the focal point, the only redeeming move that will come from them will be because they know that this release will cost them instead of benefiting them. Not out of respect for Michael OR the folks that pay their hard earned money to buy his music.

To say fuck them is a huge understatement at this point.

I've bought every post-death release so far, but this, and I'm not getting it either. I'll stick with what escapes the Motown vaults from this point on. The estate will cope i'm sure. But considering the fakery on the 'This Is It' movie, we should have seen it coming. This is NO different. SONY is not an honest company when it comes to MJ.

Honestly, i'd rather have an album of his vocal workouts with Seth Riggs, at least it's all him.

And where have you come from not to know anything about this song?

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I'm completely confused and don't know what the hell y'all are talking about or what this thread is all about.

Did someone else record a song and try to release it under the name "Michael Jackson" or try to include it on a forthcoming album of previously unreleased Michael Jackson songs?

Also, if there is a future Michael Jackson album that is going to be released of previously unreleased Michael Jackson songs, how old are the songs? If they were recorded any later than the "Dangerous" era, I'm not interested.

If this is true it's ridiculous. Breaking News is awesome IMO & it's MJ. Fans are ruining this record!

I'll break it down for you lol

There is a new Michael Jackson album on the way containing tracks recorded in recent years.A song called "Breaking News",recorded in 2007,was released on Monday. Many of Jackson's fans and some family members do not believe that it's Michael's vocals on the track. The vocals sound like an imitator,so there is a big controversy going on.The song has since been removed from the album.

I'm not sure how old most of the songs on the album are,but I have a feeling that the album will consist mostly of tracks recorded during the last few years.

"Breaking News" is garbage and those vocals are not MJ no no no! Maybe some of the vocals are by MJ,but it's obvious that an imitator was brought in.

It's like they samples small sounds bites of Mj from previous recordings and used an impersonator to pass of this song, they should be ashmed trying to fool people and attching michael's name to this fradulance.

This is MJ's voice. I have all his CDs, I've heard him live and this is MJ - this is the MOST recognizable voice on EARTH!

I think that stupid childlike fans are just creating negative hype around this realease. 2000 watts is then Usher??????? What?? Every fan should know that he liked to experiment with his vocals all the time.

But the song is nothing special, even the worst songs on Dangerous are better or at the same level.

And where have you come from not to know anything about this song?

I'm not a big follower of things MJ, so I knew nothing about this either.

Since I've heard it, though, I'm shocked this would even be considered as part of any upcoming MJ release beyond a fan project compilation. To pass this off as Michael is just.... embarrassing.
