I remember back when I was looking to the info about the Cascio tracks, barely anything came up and when they registered the songs to the US Copyright Office, they didn't name the songs, just in one set as "MJ Songbook"

Brad Buxer submitted all the tracks he did with Michael individually and as a set but the songs were named.....

Another red flag.

Yeah couldn't find much myself on Cascio search in copyright records

Could be. Swa said it was gone when she went to it and I think she's in Australia. And it's already Wednesday over there. So I'm thinking it'll be taken down by tomorrow here in the U.S.

Somehow the song is leaking to radio according to Billboard. confused I wonder if MJ fans gonna call in and say "stop playing that impostor tune! That's not Michael!!!" lol

America, I know we have some losing brain cells but not like this. lol

We need to do top ten reasons for why Breaking News is breaking bullshit.

10. Hee-hee's in wrong place

09. No sign of a proper shamone in that mutha

08. This would be a typical angry Jackson song and there's not one "ack!" or a dismissive "dah!" to be heard

07. When MJ sings in a faster tempo he's sometimes unintelligible and you need three or four lessons to work out what he's said. I understood every word of that bullshit from the get-go

06. No beat-boxing to accompany the drum track

05. Not a single "daggone it!"

04. It sounds like Jason Malachi

03. It sounds wack (see number 4 above)

02. MJ never referred to himself in the third person before in song

01. And if he did............ he wouldn't call himself "Miku Jaschksin!"

The original. I preferred the simplicity, i like clutter-free, less overproduced music generally.

That's perhaps the biggest give away. That's when I first realized it wasn't Michael Jackson singing. A soon as I heard "everybody wants a piece of Michael Jackson" I knew it wasn't him because he had a perculiar way of pronouncing his own name. You can especially tell on the "Jackson". In the song, the singer sings "JACK-SUN" but Michael always said "JACK-SIN".

I think most of the "convict"s and gongs we hear are only in the snippet and wont be on the album version. They always put random noises over the top of leak tracks. I'm not exactly sure why. Whether it's to make it different enough from the album version that they can't get into trouble or it's actually been leaked by the record company and they have messed it up enough so that people would want to buy the actual clean album version when it comes out. I've heard many other leaks with all noises and shout outs over the top of the music, but when the retail version comes out all that shit is gone.

I may be wrong - and will admit it if I am - but after listening to this clean a capella I am more inclined to say this is MJ.

As I stated from first listening to the songs MJ is there but his vocals are augmented and embelished with other's on backing vocals - you can clearly hear it is someone else on the backing vocals on key accent words like "Jackson".

I think we are all so use to Michael recording his layered harmonious backing vocals on his albums, and to hear other people singing backing vocals is throwing things up for us.

You have to think that with these recordings if there are gaps they will try to fill them to create a full song. That means getting in backing vocalists to flesh it out (like they did with This Is It using the Jacksons). IT's no different to what hundred's of other artists do who use backing vocalists to support the leads.

Hopefully soon credits for the track will be released and a lot of the questioning will be answered.

Feels like everyone has a "source" and they're all saying conflicting things, lol.

Just give me Another Day already, lol.

Have you heard the snippet of "monster"? Same fake vocals, even worse than Breaking News.

The thing is, about 6 snippets leaked, and the tracks believed to be Cascio tracks are the ones fans, once again, immediately picked out as fake.

Don't you think its funny that so many fans are having the same immediate reactions to the same songs supposedly recorded at someone's house?

No I haven't heard the snippet of "Monster". I'll look that up.If anyone can give me the snippet of "Much Too Soon", I'll be everso grateful. beg

I heard this acapella version and still same conclusion....voice double. It's not him...I was just hoping someone could tell me I'm wrong. sigh

And I wouldn't be surprised if this slop was recorded in Jason Malachi's basement! lol

I'm pretty sure strain on an older voice doesn't make you sound younger.

And yes, slow songs count. Why wouldn't they?

Older MJ cant sing a fast track as good as young MJ and thats a fact. Young MJ could sing fast but still sound smooth and clear. Older MJ when he sang songs that required him to sing faster his voice sounded strained and not as smooth.

If MJ ay 49 years old sang the Off the Wall dance tracks we would be like.....THATS NOT MJ

Point is when your older its easier to sing slower songs

I'm surprising myself because I'm going to try not to be rude but..

You have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Seriously. Don't talk about 'slow/fast songs' and 'vocals' as if you know about either of them when everybody else KNOWS it's not Michael Jackson.

Unbreakable, Heartbreaker, Scream, They Don't Care About Us.. They are SMASHERS. My producer friend who is beyond talented and has a great ear cranks Heartbreaker up enough to blow the speakers and he ain't even a solid MJ fan, he just knows an insane tune when he hears one.

Anyway, what's also funny is that the chorus says 'They keep faking breaking the news' .. hmm, is that a joke?
