i bet eddie cascio will be on the next mtv cribs with his name on 5 songs.but why would rodney alter it ? do you think he altered the drum and violin sounds or do you think he created a whole other rythem ? and as to mark ronson given a vocal track to make something out of it is kinda what i feare d about this. music we will hear not being what it originally was

Rodney recently tweeted that he didn't work on this particular project

i remember him saying that he recorded videos of michael in the studio during invincible, if sony decides to release that that would be awesome.

so we could say that either another post humous album with different feel to it is already being worked on.

or he is adding tracks to invincible for next year i guess

OMG! I love that little snippet of Breaking News, I can't wait for the full song to be released Monday!! That is so weird, same day the kids are revealed on tv. MJ is pulling the strings and adding more the plot!! I can't wait to hear the new cd and pick up all the clues I know he will drop in the songs. MJ is somewhere out there and I'm so glad to see him revitalized!! I looking forward to many of his new projects. MJ is doing movies, cirque, and new music...he is back on top!! I still hate the cover, but glad they removed Prince's symbol..that was so not cool. And i don't like the name of the album, too generic.

For anyone who isn't in the know on all these clues and the death hoax, hop in YT and start watching the videos of "MJfanforeverandaday." Her research has been going on since last year, and many of us have contributed...she will blow your mind!! Start from the beginning and work your way through, take notes, and verify info yourself. There are over 100 vids, so take your time and pay close attention!! After watching her stuff, I don't see how anyone wouldn't believe MJ were alive!!! Something big is going on here folks...

nod i agree with you.....this is NOT it.....and i can't wait for the rest. biggrin

I think that an expanded edition of Invincible is possible. Although not my favorite, it had potential but it fell to the wayside

I still believe it could've been edited down and remixed some months later and it would've fared better

maybe.....

1. Unbreakable

2. Invincible

3. Another Day

4. Break Of Dawn

5. Heaven Can Wait

6. You Rock My World

7. Butterflies

8. Speechless

9. Fall Again

10. Don't Walk Away

11. A Place With No Name

12. Whatever Happens

release Unbreakable, Heaven Can Wait, You Rock My World, Butterflies, and Whatever Happens, and the album could've done some serious numbers

Michael is now #20 on the Amazon bestseller's list

I wonder if the sales on Amazon will count towards Billboard and Soundscan...

I think so. Usually sales from online stores now count as sales. I know it does for iTunes.

That JSV track sounds like a rejected remix from a rejected project - oh dear.

If the fans don't pick up on it being Destiny reworked then I don't know what to do, lol.

Looks like everybody has and are just shaking their heads in disgust

They have a ton of unreleased material. They have the audio tracks to the Jacksons variety show, probably tapes of the Destiny and Triumph tour....and they post THIS

wow neutral

Jackson family... sigh

I just... *throws hands up* smh

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this "Opus None" song released by Katherine and some new MJ vault company....

http://www.tmz.com/2010/11/06/michael-jackson-katherine-jackson-mj-song-opus-released-music-jackson-secret-vault/

I've been listening for over 6 minutes and it appears to be a bunch of ad libs (lyrically and musically) but not a real song.

But my real question is what is going on with Katherine that she doesn't approve of the Sony album (and hints that it might nto be authentic). I thought the family made that deal. So confusing. MJ....try to rest in peace. It might be kind of hard.

MOL

Interesting post from KOP board.

I was afraid to say it. But now as you mentioned metaphorically... I am going to do it.

Michael was in 2005 in court for molestation allegation. But 4 of his counts ( if I remember the number correct ) where for him using alcohol as tool help in molestation. They tried to paint Michael as using alchool and drugs, and dizzy all the time.

Thank God, Mesereau proved Mike was not under influence and he was not using alcohol or substances on kids.

Jacksons are kinda walking on bombs now!! An trial is in the future..... If they say Mike was often addict these years... question about the past trial could arouse. I know nobody could be accused twice on same felony, but in the public court Michael can get accused, AGAIN.

All sort of weird questions could pop up..... Their best interest is to say Mike was off drugs, clean, using medications for his diseases and pains, and talk about real sleep problems. But is kinda late, isn't it??

I know it's only a snippet, but a huge NO on it so far. Dated same old, same old. I can't see my opinion changing much as the beat foundation is there and it's too similar and over done. Bad drum machine and violin synth. Hoping for good vocals....

Tbqh you were up in here last time bitching about his music when you've realized that you've grown past it as it's too 'juvenile' for your 'grown up tastes.' If that's how you felt before, then this album isn't going to make you feel any different. You may fancy a song here and there, but overall it's going to be 'below' you. It's not that your opinion is valid or invalid, but I don't know what you think you are going to find here. So either just come to that realization and cut your losses or accept it and just take it for what it is.

Like seriously.

When you grow up and mature, then come back as by then you finally might be able to enjoy the music for what it is rather than for what you want it to be.

You ever think that i may know of his potential, rather than your crazy talk? I wouldn't be a fan for 20 years if it was "below me". I used the phrase "same old"....that should be your biggest hint.

I hear you on the drum machines and synth strings but I guess that's the trade off. In order to stay true to the recordings you keep it how Michael recorded it in 2007 and to be honest at that time he wouldn't have been pulling in session musos or orchestras.

I always wanted Michael to return to real drums and instruments, but I guess it is always easer to lay down a beat on a drum machine that tee up someone to actually play on the track.

I don't mind synths in the slightest, but that drum machine sends it back to '94. It sounded very plastic. You can still use drum machines very well today (20ten, Sticky for recent), but my main gripe was that it was zero new and a concept done to death with mostly bad results (Privacy)

To be optimistic, you never know what could come later in the track....we don't know how bad a producer messed it up.

It was mentioned a few posts back. It's not a song at all. I stopped after 2 min. She could've made a better statement with a real song. Wonder is she has the rights to release material like that. If so, she could probably pull a rival album. Michael Jackson vs. Michael Jackson.
