Hell yeah it was. A whole lot of fuckin went down with that cd. GOD bless R Kelly for that masterpiece. This whole thread was great though. Some good shit came out of the 90's.

The LAST male R&B group....

Looking back, the only thing I find corny about 90s R&B was how everybody was overly "fake hardcore". It didn't matter; men, women,,,,everybody acted like their dicks were dragging on the ground. And those ugly ass plaid shirts, mah lawrd disbelief

But I loved the "dark/depression" vibe in that era though, I wasn't in the mood to hear no happy-go-lucky music at the time. Mary J's "My Life" album represents EVERYTHING I love about 90s R&B music.

1. falloff No comment on your first point!

2. So basically, Boyz II Men, Az Yet, & All-4-One couldn't do anything for you back in those days? Interesting.

Dammnnnn!!!!! I love Jodeci and KC and Jojo afterwards, ok so they had this dicks on the ground mentality, but they had some phine ass melodies and voices. They were real singers and had absolutely incredible voices. You have got to post that "All of my life, I pray for someone like u song here"

So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

That is a really good remix album. All of the remixes for that project were superb.
