Aaliyah would be just as successful (if not more) than Beyonce if she were still here

(She was even before Beyonce came into the picture!)

'The Wiz' would have been more successful and better if Stephanie Mills had played Dorothy

(That's not unpopular.)

Ludacris is the best rapper out now

( spit I like Luda but no, Kanye is the best at this point.)

Justin Timberlake is a talented dude without Timbaland

(He is, especially when he was with NSYNC.)

Gwen Stefani > Fergie ; whether solo or in a group

( spit )

All female pop artists copy Janet more than Madonna; they just won't admit it

( To some extent I agree.)

Bjork > Lady Gaga

( neither one of them are appealing to me.)

Prince's best album was the Love Symbol album

(No to me wink )

Lauryn Hill was the only one who actually mattered in the Fugees

( Please, Wycelf Jean was just as important. He's doing a lot more than she is anyway.)

U2 is very overrated

'Rock With You' is MJ's best song and 'Remember The Time' is his best video

( I agree.)

Gladys Knight doesn't get enough credit; she discovered the Jackson 5 and Aaliyah

( Yeah, she met them way before Diana even knew who the hell they were.)

Jennifer Hudson is the best thing to come from 'American Idol'

( shrug )

Biggie wouldn't have made it without Puffy which is why Tupac was the better of the two

( Oh please, Dr. Dre and Death Row boost the hell out his damn career. lol I like 2pac, to some extent, but he's not as great as people try to make it sound like.)

Britney Spears wouldn't have made it if TLC had taken 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'

( spit )

Guy was way better than Blackstreet.

Chris Brown's career is really over.

Snoop Dogg should retire.

Ja Rule should just give up ressurecting his career.

Busta Rhymes is not the crazy, unique guy I remember as a kid.

T.I. is NOT the king of the South.

ATL was really not about the ATL, no surprising of course.

MoonWalker was/is a lame movie.

I said people used to play that song all the time, my mother ws one of those people, I somtimes had to pretend I was in nother place.

Maybe you didn't have control of what you listened to like I did then. lol

I couldn't tell someone not to play the song, I especially couldn't tell mommy that either. lol

Oddly I didn't hear the song that much as a kid (or maybe I did but I was more focused on "newer" stuff like Bobby Brown or Guy or Janet or something lol). I started to hear the song more as I grew up...though I was always into Stevie. The first song that got me really hooked to him was "Overjoyed" lol My love for that particular song started my trip with Stevie and I was two then. lol

"Superstition" is always a banger to me. shrug

This is very true. The sooner his fans and "supporters" realize this the better. The mainstream (white) audience is not as forgiving to black celebs who have committed crimes as they are to white celebs who have committed crimes. Besides, dude is/was talented but I never thought that he was anything special or exceptional. You can go anywhere in this country and find a cute lightskinned young'n who can dance and hold a note.

T.I. is NOT the king of the South.

shrug He's as much the king of the south as much as Jay-Z is he best rapper alive. rolleyes...smile

C'mon, it was an '80s movie.

lol Sadly, I was one those people who had to put up with it all the time, and when the song was in commercials, I immediately change the channel. lol I like "You Haven't Done Nothing". Very good song.

rolleyes @ the Chris Brown comments. What makes you think it has anything to do with race? What other young black celeb has committed a crime like that recently? One with all the details leaked to the media? Hell, there aren't that many young black male celebs to begin with - to me THAT is the issue.

Faececious or otherwise (you decide)

You want unpopular opinions:

- Graffiti Bridge was Prince's best album since For You, took Planet Earth to beat it...

- Elvis Died On The toilet (I think this is actually true)

- Lady Gaga is now a much better live entertainer than Madonna

- Opinions are like assholes...

- Prince should have never acknowledged Amy Winehouse "Back to Black" era

- Evan Dando (or Evil Dildo) and Courteney Love drove Cobain to Suicide

- MJ faked his death to settle all his debts and is hanging with Elvis (flamebait maybe?)

- OJ Did it.

I'll come up with a few more later, but that felt quite cathartic!

Michael Jackson, Jackson 5 and Janet Jackson are HIGHLY overrated

Madonna, Britney Spears & Lady Gaga are garbage

The 80's influenced the 2000's and both decades put out a lot of crappy music

James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Sly Stone etc deserve just as much credit as Michael Jackson

Sade is not only an emotive interpreter but also an amazing poet

Chaka Khan is the Voice of Life... and yes, I stole that from Prince lol lol

Stevie Wonder owned the 70's like Prince owned the 80's

There aren't alot of great rock vocalists (most really suck) but alot of weird yet interesting vocal styles and phrasing that have influenced everyone

The art of gospel is lost.... everybody think they can sing it and people accept it even when most of them sound like shit. I'm not big on southern baptist gospel but I do like the contemporary gospel of the late 80's - 2000's.

Whitney Houston > Mariah Carey

John Legend needs better material and more success

Rahsaan Patterson is probably the best male vocalist of this time

Stevie Wonder = EARTH
Prince = WIND
Chaka Khan = FIRE
Sade = WATER

Ricky Bell is the best vocalist of the original members of New Edition

Craig David is underrated

Slave needed Steve Arrington

Aside from Stevie, Prince, and a select few, the One Man Band image is overrated

John Legend's music is boring

Lionel Richie needs to stop being a bitch and reunite with The Commodores (hurry up, Lionel! don't make me get Brenda on that ass!)

Will.i.Am is talented and Fergie needs to kiss his right testicle every day for making her a star

Arnotts

Kanye West doesnt have one enjoyable song (thats been released as a single) and I have no idea why hes been successful

Off The Wall is overrated especially when its labeled his best.

Britney was talented before her breakdown (People make out shes always been completely void of talent since the day she started)

Lady Gaga isnt ugly (anybody would be ugly with the make up and outfits she wears, but naturally or made up like a movie star she is good looking)

* Christina Aguilera is nothing without her voice, and it's fading fast which is why she went ~electro~ on the new album - less strenuous vocal work.
