Jay-z was/is just as much as a Biggie dick rider as Diddy.

Confessions was not a good album.

Nastradamus was not as bad as people make it seem like.

Nas's "N***er" > Hip Hop is Dead

It Takes Two is such a lame song, same goes for Rapper's Delight.

The Neptunes have better beats than Timbaland.

Common, sometimes, can be more lyrically complexed than Nas.

Confirmed and agreed.

Juelz is not better than Camron, you must be tripping.

Redmans first string of solo albums are considered classic, he can rock without any assistance.

Did you not even read the title of this thread? It's called unpopular opinions. Cam'ron can't rap for shit, at least Juelz has a flow. lol And at this point Redman really needs Meth. lol

Difference between unpopular opinions and complete retardation. wink

Cam used 2 hold his own with Big L, Juelz couldnt even walk on his own two feet until Killa showed him how 2 flow.

Redman needs a lot more than Tical at the moment, Reggie is on the shelf until further notice.

I'm a fan of her, but Christina Aguilera's voice really isn't as good as people say it is. I've watched hundreds of her performances on YouTube and she screeches and strains her way through about 95% of them.

rolleyes If you don't like my opinion, oh well, that's your problem dear.

Anyway,

2pac is very overrated. (I'm not saying he's bad, I'm saying he's overrated).

Dr. Dre is never gonna make that album he promised.

Mike Jones should have never bother making a comeback.

Jamie Foxx really can sing, but I really wished he didn't try to become a singer.

Charlie Murphy is funnier than Eddie. (I know that's a non-musical opinion, but I had to say it)

Will Smith was never really that great as a rapper, but Jazzy Jeff was great.

Foxy Brown > Lil Kim

They have good beats though, but not as good as the ones ATCQ had. That case can be made (considering that Dilla was part of the Ummah production team that was behind Quest's early albums).

No I.D. and The 9th Wonder are painfully underrated. Can't argue there. Resurrection and The Minstrel Show are evidence of that.

Guru, and as much as I like him, really need Premier!!!! May he rest in peace, he was at his strongest when Primo was blessing the beats.

Redman is nothing without Method Man. Negative. Redman was one of the top MC's in an era full of great ones. Whut? Thee Album and Dare Iz A Darkside are proof positive of that.

Rakim will always be GOAT rapper, no matter what anyone says. Positively, and that is a very popular opinion.

The Clash really didn't have that many good songs. The case can be made.

Cal Tjader was/is one of the best Latin Jazz musicians of all time. The case can be made.

Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes were really nothing without Teddy P. The case can be made.

Some of Curtis Mayfield's songs are actually better than Prince's songs. Indeed, some of the master's songs are superior to most of those in Prince's catalogue.

Ernie Isley is a very underrated guitarist. Indeed.

1) I know Dilla was part of the Ummah, oh and he also produced Janet's "Got Till It's Gone".

2) nod

3) He needed him!!!

4) I guess I never cared too much about him except "Pick It Up".

5) Really? Because most people say 2pac is.

6) spit

I agree 2pac was overrated...I loved his poetry but I just thought people put way too much emphasis on him.

I also agree that Rappers Delight is a classic but is very corny...fun but corny.

C alifornia destroyed rap music.

I hate Smells Like Teen Spirit; never got into it.

I do not like Beat It anymore since 1993.

As catchy as it was Buddy Holly by Weezer is so corny I always did not like that tune.

Kanye does have the best rap discography to date.

Common was tight but fell off with the Neptunes unfortunatley.

Prince's 2000's material is highly better than the whole 90's era; I could not wait for those days to end.

Jacksons Destiny is only good on the first side..its not classic as everyone says..its good but ..really?

Gloria Estefans music was better with Miami Sound Machine

Ready For The World's first album was better than Around The World In A Day both released in 1985.

This era of underground rap music was better than the 90's period.

Jermaine could have really been big.

OC is very good rapper.

Camp-Lo is a very lame rap group.

1999 is more enjoyablr to listen to than PR and Thriller combined.

Mary J. Blige needs new material and stop with all those wife beating/pain songs.

Lloyd Banks has a better flow than 50.

The Game's first album is a classic of westcoast gangsta rap, even though I'm not a huge fan of gangsta rap.

J Dilla is a better producer than Premier, yeah I said it.

MJ "The Girl is Mine" is the weakest song on Thriller.

Non-musical

Will Smith was never a good actor to begin with.

The Wayans Bros. show was funnier than the Fresh Prince.

Guns N Roses was the best of the 1980s American rock bands

Outkast is/was the best hip hop group of the past 15 years.

Commercialism destroyed lyricism in hip hop

Digable Planets could have been bigger

Ludacris > TI

The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame should change their entrance requirements before the likes of Spears, Timberlake, Bieber and others are positioned next to Jimi, The Beatles, MJ, Stevie, and Prince

The 1960s Brit rock groups appreciated the true heart of American rock n roll.

Chaka > Aretha

Sly > PFunk

Planet Earth > New Power Soul

3121 should have been released before Musicology

Suge Knight knows more than he is telling

Walk this Way collaboration is way overrated

MJ > Elvis

Janet should tour stateside in 2010

Thriller destroyed MTV in the long run

Nas (when on point) is superior to Jay Z

Flavor Flav has tarnished the impact of Public Enemy with his buffoonery

The 1970s RnB/soul music scene > any other era

Real Muthafuckin G's is the greatest dis song ever

Hey Layzie!!!! biggrin

I like MJ, but Thriller is VERY overrated. lol

SWV is better than Xscape.

Alexander O Neal is wasted talent.

Usher's "Yeah" was such a lame ass song. I'm glad people don't play that shit on the radio anymore.

Ice Cube should retire from rapping.

Hey, gurl! wave
