The Acapella and the Instrumental are definitely real. If they weren't officially released anywhere, someone with access to the multitracks might have leaked them.

With the acapella, they could've ripped it from the Moonwalker DVD. Was the DVD in 5.1? And yeah someone may have the multitracks....I'll look into it. I found out on MJJC that someone has demos from the Bad sessions, Men In Black, Seven Digits, and Invincible era outtakes

I've noticed a lot of fans making nearly professional sounding remixes with me thinking "the remix to that is out there?!" lol

That's true regarding the DVD, it could have come from there.

That happened when the Tupac "Live at the House of Blues" DVD came out. You could isolate parts of the mix from it, that's how the "Hit 'Em Up" instrumental first leaked.

Although I could have always asked my friend Johnny J (RIP) for it lol, since he produced it lol lol

Michael Jackson -- Casket Mystery Solved

It's the answer to the question you were kinda curious about, then forgot about, but now you're like "Holy cow, I really want to know -- how did Michael Jackson's body seemingly disappear after his memorial, only to reappear at the cemetery?"

On July 7, 2009 the Staples Center memorial was held in front of thousands of people in downtown L.A. -- Jackson's body was ensconced in a $25,000 bronze casket.

After the memorial, although hundreds of cameras and thousands of eyes were trained on the exits, no one saw any evidence that the casket left the building. It fueled a grassy knoll-type theory that Jackson's body wasn't really inside the casket and maybe he was still alive.

Finally, our spies have come clean. Jackson's body did indeed arrive in a hearse, but it left in a SWAT van. The van was driven to a secret location, where it rendezvoused with a Forest Lawn van -- which then transported the body to the cemetery without being noticed.

Anyone see Omer Bhatti's new music video? It is a tribute to Michael Jackson!

http://vimeo.com/12492311

Check it out!!! He may not be Michael's lovechild or whatever, but he certainly

sounds and dances better than most of the mainstream BS playing today.

The only way Omer or Michael's kids will get a fair shot at a music career is if they don't try to trade off his music, or copy his dance styles.

I get it if this is an homage. But if he want's to be taken seriously he has to create his own path, or sadly he will just end up being viewed as an MJ wannabe.

Just read the Vanity Fair JULY 2010 (Liz Taylor Cover) that has a great article about Michael written (and followed up on) around the shooting of Thriller. Very insightful and offers a nice peek inside the process of making the video and the brewing relationship between MJ and Ola Ray.

Well worth a read.

I agree completely.

The history behind the song is that fans requested he rap over one of Michael's songs,

so he did it. The song is a free download.

I really hope he can be successful at whatever he puts his heart to.

But STILL....In that video, Omer did the smoothest, best-looking "sidewalk" I've ever seen someone who is not Michael Jackson do. lol I was actually shocked he can do that move so perfectly. eek

So are people going to consider this new album a part of his real discography to make it seven offical albums or will it be more of a Ultimate Collection kind of thing (especially if they add a stupid greatest hits with it) of just being songs that werent released? I'm not sure what to make of it. I definitley want it to be released, but its not fully Michaels product.

If they include the songs he recorded in 2007-2009, it's plausible

I consider it part of the solo discography, all the solo albums he released, studio and otherwise

I agree with bboy. If the tracks are all from the post invincible session then it is likely this *may* have been the album we would have gotten.

But if it is a collection of outtakes from his OTW - Invincible recordings, then it is just a "collection from the vault" issue.

Yeah I was under the impression that it was all going to be from post Invincible sessions (although I was reading an article saying they were most likely going to tack on a greatest hits with it) but what I mean is even if it is all post Invincible stuff its still not going to be an album of Michaels doing. Sony will just be picking the songs they want on the album so in that sense I was wondering if people will consider it a proper era defining sony album or a collection of post Invincible releases album. I just dont think I can consider it a proper album without the singles, original filmclips, Michaels presence in promotion, concerts etc.

Again I'm not whining about its release, I cant wait for it purely just to hear the music he had been working on all that time, but I'm just wondering hows its all going to be defined in his catalogue.

Michael Jackson’s Grave To Be Open To The Public On One-Year Anniversary Of His Death

“Currently located at California’s Forest Lawn cemetery, US authorities have given the go-ahead for fan tributes to take place in a protected setting at a distance from Jackson’s grave on June 25.

Given the magnitude of public outcry when Jackson passed away last summer from a drug overdose, police are focusing on security concerns and using a similar procedure to the one employed in July when the singer was finally laid to rest after an internationally televised wake. In September 2009, Jackson was moved to a section called the Great Mausoleum, which will remain completely closed off to the public.”

Glendale police sergeant Tom Lorenz ensured the L.A. Times that there will be a high police presence

“We understand that Forest Lawn is working with the Jackson family for some kind of commemoration… We will be working closely with Forest Lawn to ensure the safety of those who want to pay their respects to Michael Jackson while ensuring the safety of others who are coming to the cemetery to pay respects to their loved ones.”
