On a personal note, I don't hate Beyonce.
Her career is just turning out to mirror that of Diana Ross's a bit too much.
I think that as far as talent goes, yes Beyonce is a good entertainer, but she is somewhat overrated. There are plenty of female performers out there that are better at everything that Beyonce is claimed to the best at. Beyonce has such of an "American Sweetheart" status that she has been able to get away with doing/saying things that who get others chastised. (Example: flooding the airways, but Prince couldn't and the comment she made about Joe and Kathreen Jackson's handling of their childrens' careers compared to Kanye's various rants) And although I did like just about every song on her B-day cd, when is she going to take this break she's been promising.

I could go on and on about her vocal arrangments and harmonies(things that producers, people who have worked with her and even those who are critics that judge her music from afar) but again, that would bring the thread into another tangent. As I said, there are MILLIONS who do appreciate what she does whether you don't and no one should be condescending toward them. Kind of like Britney Spears or Madonna, I am not a fan of theirs but I get what they do. Beyonce has vocal talent.....beyond that, she spends about 15 minutes writing her songs.....and U can tell.

I don't dislike her at all. I have a disdain for most of her
simple music and her dad's business tactics. She has a few
good songs but they are few and far between. She doesn't irritate
me like others.
