Unlike other, better, country singers, Taylor Swift is very boring to me, and would not sound good with Beyonce. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. I knew it! That was what I thought at first. But that sad smiley face made me post otherwise, lol. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Speaking of Beyonce - has anyone noticed that the video to her new single 'brokenhearted girl' is so similar to Mariah's 'love takes time' [Edited 11/12/09 6:14am] | |

OK talking about Beyonce being overrated-this is from Billboard
http://www.billboard.com/...1506.story First cut "If I Were a Boy" signaled an intimate, acoustic turn, while "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" oppositely aimed for more core R&B/hip-hop audiences (ultimately becoming a pop-culture crossover smash). "Halo," co-penned by OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, fared best at mainstream top 40 radio, with its lush production and obvious hook. The current "Sweet Dreams" is perhaps the most pure dance song Beyonce has ever released, solo or with Destiny's Child. The variety of sounds in the set's singles follows the tradition of albums that not only produced a bounty of radio hits, but also an artistic mini-reinvention on each track. It then goes on to compare 'I Am Sasha Fierce' with a number of other albums such as Cyndi Lauper's 'She's So Unusual', Bangles' 'Different Light', Madonna's 'True Blue', George Michael's 'Faith', Mariah Carey's 'Daydream' and others. Now I can understand some of the comparisons such as with Rihanna the Black Eyed Peas and perhaps Avril. But comparing Beyonce (and the three others) with any of the other albums mentioned especially Cyndi and the Bangles is just perverse. I mean I don't really see any variety in Beyonce's sound in between albums and in this album in particular: a)If I Were A Boy-R&B ballad b)Single Ladies-R&B/hip-hop crap c)Diva-R&B/hip hop crap d)Halo-R&B ballad e)Ego-R&B ballad f)Sweet Dreams-pop with R&B elements (the only single which slightly stands out) g)Broken Hearted Girl-R&B ballad Now where is that variety exactly?
