I have a Love/Hate with her lol

It's sad that Beyonce doesn't understand how to elevate other's creative ideas and make them her own. I honestly think she's just not intelligent enough to comprehend what a piss poor artist she is---and in the end, it doesn't really matter because she is making back so more power to her. However, her fans need to realize she's a hack job without an ounce of creativity in her bones.

With that being said, I could care less about her because I can turn off the radio or change the channel whenever I see or hear her. What irks me is that her father has locked other artists in to record contracts and then screwed them over...in particular Dione Farris. It's as if he doesn't want black artist, with actual talent to shine out of fear the public will see what a phony his daughter actually is.

Her ballads are actually really good on I Am Sasha. Some of the fast songs are crap and others are catchy. After this era though, I see her popularity slowing down in the new decade.

I'm tired of her too so call me a hater, but I'm not in denial of her talent. Let's be real here, she's an amazing performer with undeniable stage presence. I've seen her in concert with my sister who is a diehard and I cannot lie, the woman puts on a damn good show. I'm sorry but all of this if Aaliyah was still around Beyonce would be nothing talk is so laughable. Aaliyah couldn't even outsell Brandy. Aaliyah was a beautiful lady with a little girl's body. Beyonce has curves and everything else and makes thicke women proud. Their styles were/are different, why are they even being compared? A better comparison is Aaliyah trumps Ciara and Rihanna. Maybe Aaliyah has better songs than Beyonce, I'll give her that and she was a way better actress, but as a singer and a performer....noooo there's no comparison.

I commend her ability to stick to it, because anyone who milks a double album of 11 tracks for a year is dedicated for sure. But to have the Kanye West's of the world kneel before it and declare that it sparked 'one of the greatest videos of all time' and other lemmings agree is a travesty.

I will not blindly/deafly lend my support or spend my money on anything of the nature. This has been my opinion since her DC days. I didn't think Destiny's Child was worth a dime either. Best selling all they want, but I don't care for knock off TLC songs. It's not about hating on her, I'm just not gonna kiss her ass and declare her "one of the greats" when her moderate talents receive tremendous accolades from every Tom, Dick and Harry. Someone has to be rooted in different soil. And it's not hating simply because I refuse to fawn over her. I'm like that with no one other than Prince, and even he has missed my personal mark from time to time.

Personally, I don't like Beyonce's solo music or her acting. She has a very good voice, but the acting...well...she sucks. But I always thought (when she was in DC) that she had potential to be the best musical performer amongst all of her peers. Even with the girls, she was always the standout with her dancing, with her facial expressions...she was the one that my eye always wandered to. Not because she was the lead, but because she was the better performer, she ALWAYS gives 100%.

As I mentioned, I don't like her solo work, but I attribute that to my not being in her target age demographic. IMO, none of her music has any substance and I find that boring.

I've also grown EXTREMELY tired of seeing her everywhere ALL of the time. To me, she is no longer exciting, she's only become a nuisance.

Yes,she is overrated and extremely overexposed.Girl needs to take a break and give people a chance to "miss" her.

And to me, she performed very well in "Obsessed." I hope her acting skills continue to improve.
